Based upon other reviews on Angie's List, plus a referral from a close friend, we selected Johns Brothers Security as the provider for our home. We talked to two other companies (one of the big name companies wouldn't even send a rep to our house - they wanted to do everything by phone. No thanks.), and we ended up choosing Johns Brothers over those other companies.
One of the primary reasons we did this was due to the sales representative, David Taylor. David was punctual and professional when he arrived at our house, listened to our concerns, and offered us solutions that met our security and life safety needs. David has been in the industry for a long time and you could tell he knew his stuff.
When the technician, Jeff, arrived at our house to install the system, he also did a great job in answering any questions we had, and offered us options on installation of the equipment that helped minimize both our aesthetic and security concerns. Jeff was careful and efficient with the installation. Our sale rep, David, even showed up during the installation to ensure that everything was running smoothly and to answer any questions we had.
Even after the installation we had a billing question, and we got a quick call back from Johns Brothers and David as well. We've also been extremely pleased with the way that the system has performed. It's very intuitive and easy to use!
I'd definitely recommend Johns Brothers to any that needs their services, and of course, David Taylor as well.

They came out and gave a consultation to assess the security needs that we needed. They also made suggestions.

First, a salesman came to my home to explain the equipment, the options for equipment and services and the potential places for mounting the sensors. The salesman was on time, knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. The technician who installed the hardware was on time, efficient and thorough. He clearly explained the operation of the system before he left.

They've been wonderful and their service is great. They have not changed their fees since I started dealing with them about 19 years. If my alarm goes off when I am not home, they call my neighbor or one of my children. If they cannot get a hold of anyone they call the police to come check on my home. If I set alarm accidentally they always check on me very quickly by phone.

They have different payment plans which is nice. Any time the alarm goes off, they always call to make sure we are ok. When there is a problem they fix it right away. They are very punctual and professional.

The service was great and the people were very professional. There was one small problem; the sales girl gave an initial price, though due to the quality of the sensors the general system had to be bigger so the price came up a bit. They came very well prepared with all the other options in case we changed our minds and they finished the job on time.

We had two external doors replaced, and they needed new magnet sensing devices hooked up. They did a good job of hooking this up, and we've had no false alarms. We are very happy with their monitoring service. They charge quarterly.

The company did a good job installing the system for what was done. They made me feel safe in my own home. The response time was fast and the price was right. When I forgot to turn the system off after walking in, they gave me a call to see if everything was okay. They charge $35 monthly to monitor our alarm system.

They sold and also installed our alarm system in our three bedroom home. They did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves when they installed the system. They really explained our system to us and what we should expect from this system. They also monitor our system as well. We haven't had any problems with false alarms. They do charge us every three months for service.

They were doing okay, nothing spectacular, but they were doing their job reliably. I had no complaints about them. They had a good response time and always called to check on us anytime an alarm went off. If I needed them again I would hire them but the only reason I stopped the service was because I am always home now and I no longer needed it.

They installed our system thirteen years ago and explained the system in detail then. The monitoring is done through the phone lines. We do not have it activated all the time however we do feel comfortable when we do. We are really not sure about the response time because it has never gone off. I really haven't had to contact them for anything.

Johns Brother was a very dependable company. One of the things I really liked was they had 24 hour service. I even called them on Christmas once, and they came out to check my heating. I was very satisfied with their company.
