Exquisite Custom Cabinets

Unexpected complications where encountered during installation that required modifications due to the original space being so poorly built with wavy walls, off centered door opening relative to width of space, and the door opening was not square. Some of this was known and accounted for in the beginning, but there were some surprises that required additional partitions to be built, extra scrubbing of the 4 shelves, and one shelf had to be rebuilt from scratch. All was accomplish on the original scheduled install day with only about an extra 4 hours of time. The final product turned out better than expected.

Jim and his team were fantastic. He met with us several times to help us design our dream kitchen. He listened to what we wanted and made great suggestions. He then came back to us with easy to read and conceptualize plans for our new kitchen. He then incorporated our comments into subsequent revisions until we were happy with the final plan. He also helped us utilize every bit of space in our kitchen. He then came over with a full scale layout board of our designed island because we were concerned about having enough space in our kitchen. He always went the extra mile.
Once plans were completed, he built the cabinets to our specifications and even made many helpful suggestions during the construction process. My wife was contracting the job herself and I'm not sure she could have done it without Jim's help. Installation was seamless and his installation team was professional and courteous. As our other sub-contractors came through the kitchen we got unsolicited compliments not only on the look of our new cabinets but on the quality of the construction. 
Jim's quote was not the least expensive one that we got, but the service, quality, and guidance that he provided was well worth the increased cost. I would use Jim again in a heartbeat.

Jimmy came to the house at the appointment time and observed each space and took detailed measurements.  He then asked exactly what it was I wanted to accomplish in each room, other than just new cabinets.  After a lengthy discussion with many good suggestions on his part, we came up with a design.  I also explained I was on a short time fuse and need it done within about 5 or 6 weeks for reasons out of my control.  In spite of his already busy work load he said he would do his best and in fact completed all of the work except for the mirrors in the allotted time.  The mirrors were completed about a week later.

All of the carpentry and paint work is about as perfect as humanly possible.  He was very meticulous with the installation.  Every drawer, shelf, and door is in perfect alignment with each other and work smoothly.  The back, sides, and bottom of each cabinet were shimmed or scribed as needed for a perfect fit against the wall and floor.  When I say perfect, I mean perfect.  Very little caulk was needed to hide seams or gaps.

I had seen Jimmy's work in several high end new construction homes.  Not many of these homes are being built now.  So he has time to work with renovations in lower valued homes like mine.  He has not sacrificed quality for faster lower cost cabinets.  High end cabinets and lower valued homes do not go together, so he builds cabinets that fits the home value.  However, he does not sacrifice quality.  These cabinets are built with the same attention to detail as he uses for high end homes.  So that makes them a little pricey but still reasonable considering the quality of the work.

It turned out very well and did superb work. The price was extensive but well worth the quality. I can?t say enough about them.
