Eric was excellent in communicating with me. My house is 70 years old and nothing is to level or standard. Eric made all the new items fit into the old. Making it look like everything fits together. When he found a little bit of damage he would immediately report it and give me options on how to proceed and fix it.

Eric does very good work, and is very conscientious about producing a finished product that meets his clients expectations.

Eric was professional & responsive throughout the project, from the first consultation to the final settling of accounts. He spend almost three hours with us (before being hired!) determining the scope of the job, our desires & special needs, & taking detailed measurements for estimate purposes. Eric presented us with a detailed estimate as promised, with options for different grade materials identified. His attitude, professionalism, attention to detail & energy are impressive. During the course of the work, additional damage from rodents was discovered in the walls. He also identified issues with the electrical wiring in the laundry room. These "add" items were handled well, with very reasonable additional cost. When he identified issues with brick needing repair, he coordinated closely with the masons to ensure the work was completed properly, & followed up with them on some clean up issues. When the mason suggested additional repairs, outside the area of Eric's project, he carefully reviewed the work, & ensured it was done right. Again, the cost estimate was quite reasonable for the scope of the additional unexpected work. Eric also identified some dry rot issues in unrelated parts of the home, & was very willing to include these in the project for a modest additional cost. In each case of additional work, he was responsive, careful to pay attention to the details, & reasonable in his estimates. When there were issues, as there are with any large project, he handled them without dispute or rancor: problems were just fixed. All aspects of the project were completed well, but he was particularly skilled at finish carpentry. His work on the custom built-ins in the closets, window molding, picture & chair rails was top notch. He paid particular attention to ensuring that details of the new work melded well with existing woodwork in our 80 year old home. Eric did a significant amount of work seeking unusual & special request materials for our project, including some unusual interior doors. He did this additional work quickly, and skillfully. He found just what we wanted, & kept the price reasonable despite the unique nature of the materials. We felt confident throughout the project that he was working with us to achieve our goals. For example, while his work was ongoing, we contracted separately for spray insulation in the walls. As his work progressed, Eric identified gaps in the insulation, & filled those gaps with high quality products on his own initiative. When I completed some demolition work in preparation for floor refinishing (independent of his quote), Eric loaned me the tools necessary to properly complete the work. He was helpful, responsive, and a teammate throughout the project. We have asked Eric to provide quotes on two other projects (window replacement & custom pergola), & are confident that we will ask him to work on our projects in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends & family.

Eric was prompt and professional. I am glad I choose him because he did everything he said he would do and his work turned out fantastic!
