Craigs roofing did what they said when they said. They did a professional job & cleaned up everything completely. I am satisfied with their work.

Called Craig for quote. Came within a few days. I agreed to work and he came back and finished work in one day. He is a pleasure to work with and I will use him again. I have not seen any leaks from front chimney or flat roof since work was done. Flashing looks great.

We tried to reach this contractor for an estimate but were not successful. There was no business phone and the website provided went directly to a national distributor, not to a local business. We wondered if perhaps they were no longer is business? If they are still in business, it's important that they know potential customers can't reach them - although Craig's Roofing was well recommended, our job went to someone else.

In May of 2010 I noticed that my 18 year single tab roof was leaking into a first story room. The shingles were brittle and blowing off after each nor'easter ; I live 2 miles south of the Chesapeake Bay in Norfolk so I tend to get high winds. I June 2010 I researched 3 roofing contractors on Angie's list and asked all for estimates. Craig's roofing had the best price and the longest workmanship warranty of the 3 bids I evaluated. Craig advised me on a roofing color choice that was opposite of what all my friends and coworkers recommended. Had I chosen a color not what Craig had recommended, I feel the curb appeal of my home would have been negatively affected. Thanks much to Craig's experience in choosing roof colors ! He also recommended deleting two of four vents on my roof, making the power fan cooling more efficient. Craig's roofing crew was very thorough and efficient. They started within 24 hours of their noted start date as dictated by rainfall forecasts. They completed all work on schedule within two days and exactly at the cost in the estimate. A foreman (Butch) was on site each day supervising the roofing crew while Craig was running other company business errands. Craig provided copies of his Class A license and insurance at my request at contract signing. Craig was very proactive in communicating with me to coordinate trucks in my driveway and working with my schedule to coordinate job start and payment on job completion. Craig's Roofing LLC is a small construction contractor in Hampton Roads. His company isn't the biggest, but he obviously has a good company that does great work for a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend his company to anyone looking for an honest contractor that will give them value for their money.

I am very pleased with the work performed. Craig Grindstaff, the owner, was very professional, and his workers were prompt and attentive to their work. The job was started and completed on time and the yard was cleaned up each day before they left the job. The roof looks great and I couldn't be happier with the work performed. I would highly recommend Craig's Roofing to others in the Hampton Roads area looking for a quality roofer at a fair price.

Simply put - I would highly recommend Craig's Roofing. Craig is a man of his word, he does what he says. The work was completed both on time on on estimate. He took great pains to insure that all of our expectations were met. He communicated with me during the entire process so there was never any doubt as to when the work would be done or what was to be accomplished each day. Upon completion of the job, Craig provided me with a written warranty from the shingle manufacturer as well as his own write up.

I was very happy with these guys and they all showed up when they were supposed to. The roof looked great and we have not had any problems with leaks since they shingled. They made sure all the trash was picked up and the best thing was their price, I felt it was very competitive.
