Carpet World Carpet One Floor & Home

Its been four months now and they haven't finished the job right after being out here several times. The initial wood had discrepancies in it. Several of the boards shouldn't have even been installed they were so bad, and the transition pieces used weren't the right ones at all. My floors are natural hickory and the transition pieces for one were laminate, and a natural maple. Does not look like each other at all. One transition piece was the wrong kind of transition piece, so they came and replaced it with another laminate type of transition that was even worse.  So I complained again and they finally ordered the hickory wood transition pieces.  In the meantime I have been dealing with them to replace the flooring due to the discrepancies in the wood. I had two boxes of flooring left over that they could have used in place of the bad boards. We have been trying to get the floors replaced/finished by Carpet World since the end of May, and it is now almost October and they are out replacing the floors finally.  
Carpet world representatives kept telling me that "naturally aged" wood will have those discrepancies, but they did admit that several of them were pretty bad. They also kept saying they wanted to make sure it met MY STANDARD.  I brought it to their attention that it shouldn't be my standard, it should be their standard to get it done right the first time. They tried making me feel like I was being to picky. Carpet world said they would call and set up a date to finish/come work on the floors and they never once made it on time and rarely called to let us know they couldn't make it that day.   Workers came out and took pictures of the discrepancies in the wood, and then we didn't hear from them for over a month.  Carpet world representatives were unprofessional, trying to blame issues on others, or saying others were worthless.   I complained to the general manager and all he has said was sorry. I would have at least expected him to take it a little more personal and let me know what he is doing with his specific employees that I complained about.  I would not recommend Carpet World to anybody. You can find someone else who can do the job for a good price, the right way in a reasonable amount of time.

Bad news from start to finish, with the exception of salesman! Carpet was installed in recently painted house, installers left black marks on multiple walls, chipped the paint off edges, left glue on new carpet and vinyl. Left sliding doors off track, did poor job of instillation. Old rusty tack strips NOT replaced so carpet not installed tightly. Hammer marks in new trim, carpet not trimmed up on staircase. List was left of issues to be corrected, only one issue was addressed...the black marks on the walls were overpainted with ENAMEL over flat white walls causing us to rehire OUR original painter to fix. To their credit the did pay for the paintover repair. On the third trip with list , a month later, and homeowner present...items were addressed. listed were corrected, but the solution to the bad tack strips was to replace a few and STAPEL GUN the rest. All in all a poor instillation.

Went into store, met with salesman and brought many carpet samples home. Found two different carpet styles and colors I liked, went back to store on Friday of same week, asked same rep for prices. The salesman said he would come over the following Monday to measure, never received a phone call, never showed up.

I didn't think that they installed our carpet to our expectations, as our bathroom door will not close now. We have asked them to come out on numerous occasions and fix it and they keep giving us excuses why they can't. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

We picked out our flooring in their showroom and they set up a time that would work for us. The guys were very careful when it came to moving our furniture. They carefully removed our old flooring and then installed sub flooring. They did a nice job on our flooring and cleaned up everything when they were done.

The company was very polite and fast working. They came in and moved out the furniture and appliances. They then applied the new carpet and the linoleum, let it set and then moved everything back in to place. The entire group was very professional. I will use them again when the time is needed.

The flooring that these guys put in looked very good in my kitchen. There was a lot of leftover junk and they took it all with them when they left. The only problem I had was when they sent a guy out he didn t know what he was doing, so they had to send out another guy that did a wonderful job.

To be fair, the carpet and padding were of good quality material. It was the vinyl floor in the kitchen that was bad because it was suppose to be high quality but was far from it. We had to have it redone, and he was late getting here. He didn't have any help until later.

The carpet in my bedroom was very worn out so I decided to purchase new carpet. The workers did a great job installing the new carpet. I am satisfied with the work that they did as they were very knowledgeable. I have no complaints about the workers or the job that they did. I was very happy that they ripped the old carpet out and disposed of it so I didn't have to. I have already recommended them to several of my friends.

We bought the flooring at Carpet World. They subcontracted some contractors who came and installed the floor. They got lazy the second day and left some gaps in between the wooden planks. Fortunately, Carpet World covered them by making sure someone came out and fixed it.

The carpet these guys put in was of very high quality and we were so happy with the end results. There were no flaws in any of the rooms and I would highly recommend this company to others. Their price was fantastic for the quality of carpet and the labor they put into it.

We have actually used this company on a couple of different places, and after a bad experience with another carpet company in the area; we probably won't use anyone else but Carpet World Carpet One. They did a great job of not only getting the carpet down for us, but making sure to have the right carpet color or shade and padding. The installation should be the easiest part of the process and with this company that was the case. We haven't had any problems what so ever with the carpet or with them and we knew if we did, they would do what it took to make it right for us.

Carpet World did a great job. They had to put new flooring down where a tree fell. The floor is level and matches the rest of the hardwood flooring in the house. They were able to save our hardwood floors in our house.

Carpet One installed our linoleum and we have not had one single flaw in it. The floor was what we hoped for. The linoleum was of high grade quality. They did the installation in a very timely fashion and didn't leave any mess all over while doing it. They were very good about making sure we were satisfied totally. We felt we were treated fairly throughout the whole thing.

Carpet World Carpet One did a great job installing our carpet. Everything looked great, and we were very happy with the service they provided for us. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who would need carpeting.
