My family has been taking our vehicles to Auto Brake for two generations. It never ceases to amaze me when I take my truck there to have a problem diagnosed and they find an easy quick fix that hardly costs anything. I trust the mechanics there 100%. They have never charged me to fix something if it didn't remedy the problem that I brought it in there for. Auto Brake will squeeze you in to their schedule for emergency repairs or set up an appointment for routine maintenance. The staff there is very approachable, especially the receptionist, Sharon.

had my vehicle towed into the business. They diagnosed the problem and returned the car within the next business day.

Start to finish in about 20 minutes. Thorough inspection from a very experienced mechanic/inspector.

After picking up the vehicle, the rear brakes dragged and locked up, dragging the rear tires. Auto Brake towed the car back to their shop on June 3rd, 2010. I was called that afternoon and informed that I had left the emergency brake partially on and everything was fine. This was preposterous as I live in a flat area and never use it. I retrieved the vehicle once again and it exhibited the same problems, dragging rear brakes that smoked and the brakes locking up so that the car had to be driven in reverse to get it home. Auto Brake refused to tow it again, told me that they didn't believe me and that I could pay to tow it 'if I wanted it looked at again'. I had the vehicle towed to another repair shop and they found it to have the wrong shoes installed. The repeated jamming had bent the shoes and damaged the new drums as well.

This auto service business is family owned. The father started fixing my cars twenty five years ago, and now the son is doing it. They know how to keep their customers coming back. That is by doing excellent work, by being honest, and keeping the costs down. I thought I would need a new compressor, which would have cost between six and seven hundred, but the owner said they could repair the old one for half that. The air conditioner has been fine ever since.
