I contracted with Angela Waite of AMG Services to clean our apartment on Saturday, August 2nd. Angela and Carmen did a fabulous job of cleaning the apartment, exceeding my expectations in every way, and I couldn't be happier with their services. Dealing with Angela was a pleasure from start to finish. She is a real self-starter. She went above and beyond to do a good job and assist me in every way. From our first phone conversation it was clear that Angela is very professional and knowledgeable. Angela called me to discuss the job and we negotiated a price range for the work, sight unseen. The price was very fair. On Saturday morning Angela and Carmen arrived promptly, fully equipped with their cleaning supplies. They got to work right away, hauling out several heavy bags of trash and a large pile of broken down boxes. Carmen got right to work on the bathroom. The sink was not draining well, so she asked if I had a wrench to remove the drain trap. She did so over a bucket, very neatly, cleaned it out and reassembled it with complete precision. The sink drained perfectly afterwards, and she cleaned and shined it so that is looked new. The tub was likewise covered with soap scum and mildew, and she cleaned it so well that it also looked shiny and new. The toilet, floors and cabinets in the bathroom were similarly cleaned to perfection, and when she was done, the bathroom sparkled! Meanwhile, Angela cleaned the kitchen and living room from top to bottom. I told her that I was concerned that I couldn't get all of the laundry done and I asked her if she knew of a Wash & Fold Laundromat. She suggested nearby Soap N Suds and she called them and spoke to the manager on site to make sure that they could wash and fold the 4 huge bags of laundry before the end of the day. Angela and Carmen then helped me carry these bags of laundry downstairs and load them into my car. This was definitely not in their job description but they offered to do it and did it cheerfully. By the time I returned from dropping off the laundry, Angela and Carmen were cleaning out the fridge & freezer, removing all of the contents and cleaning every shelf and drawer completely. At my request, they went through the contents and disposed of any rotten or expired items, and put everything else back, completely organized. The baked-on grease on the oven and stove was cleaned completely, as was the food-spattered microwave. Every appliance in the kitchen looked shiny and new inside and out when they were done. Angela and Carmen cleaned every surface in bedroom, as well. The wood and tiles floors were cleaned and polished, and the carpeting was thoroughly vacuumed. When they were done the apartment was clean and sparkling from top to bottom, and I was amazed at how great everything looked. I would strongly recommend Angela Waite and AMG Services
