PELOSI'S WOOD FLOORS LLC

We had a small leak that led one section of the wood bathroom floor to rot. Gino Pelosi used materials remaining from one of our previous projects and sanded them to look "old," like the rest of the floor. The match was perfect, and the bathroom floor looks just right again.

his was a huge job. the workers were prompt and communicated clearly every step of the way. I love my floors; they look great!

For the most part it was average. They reused the wood trim but tried to charge me for materials they never provided, The son damaged my garage door, the son cannot paint. They did not provide receipts stamped paid after the job was completed. I never met the owner and no one came out to inspect the work after it was finished. There were major damages done to my home and I just wanted them to finish and out of my house. I was nice and only deducted 900 from the remainder balance. The workers are good but the owner and his son are unprofessional. You have to be there when they are doing the work or they will try to cut corners. The plumber who installed my shower ripped me off; I ended up losing 600 dollars for a simple 8 way spray shower installation. Everyday they showed up late like 11am or later and on did 5 hours of work and tried to bill me by the hour for some of the work. They also used the wrong paint on my walls and I caught it after inspecting the work everyday. A lot of stuff they had to redo.

Pelosi Floors recently installed hardwood floors in our home. They started on time and completed the work in the estimated timeframe. This company is absolutely the best contractor we have ever had in our home. In particular Gene Pelosi the owner and his son Gino are the most honest decent and fair individuals we have ever dealt with. Additionally team leaders David and Fernando are perfectionists who insured that every inch of work was done correctly and without flaws. No area of flooring required any repairs. Each and every question we had was responded to by David and Fernando in a positive professional and pleasant manner. We had several estimates prior to getting one from Pelosi and their estimate was very competitive. At the end of each work day they cleaned the work areas leaving no debris. At the end of the entire job they vacuumed all areas and left all areas perfect. Pelosi was extremely respectful of our furniture and took extra care when moving it. We are extremely particular but could not find anything negative. A phenomenal transformation and company!

He was very good and I would try to call him myself.  I saw what he did in son's house and he did a great job on hardwood floors.  I saw the work and the work was excellent.  He was very responsive and showed up on time.  He completed it when he said he would complete it.  He did it in one day.  I plan to use him in the future.

Mr. Pelosi advised on the brand of flooring to use as our previous wood floor manufacturer was no longer in business. They took photos of the existing floors and molding to match as closely as possible. The flooring was glued directly over existing wood parquet floors, sanded, and coated with polyurethane. The work was completed in two days and within two weeks of initial contact. The workers arrived at the time indicated, sealed the room from the rest of the house, and cleaned the area before leaving for the day. There was one area where the floor meets an outside doorway that I thought needed a little attention and Mr. Pelosi will be sending his team to address this small issue. The floors and moldings look beautiful.

They were very nice people and also very honest. Mr. Pelosi, the owner, is actually the one who came out originally and told us what was expected. We were not there when the installation crew was doing the work, but they did a great job.

Great. We were on a short time table and Pelosi was able not only to get the floors installed on time but also to paint our whole condo. We were thrilled with the results. The crew was punctual and helpful.

They were excellent. We really liked them. They were professional. They were on time. If they were running late they would call. They did everything the way they said they would do. The owner came and checked on the work from time to time. We definitely would recommend them and would use them again.

We contacted Pelosi for an estimate to repair our living room floor after some storm damage from a leak in a duct on our roof. After receiving the estimate we booked a date/time for them to do the repair work. The crew that came out was professional, quick and efficient and they arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time. (for all visits). The first day they replaced the damaged boards and applied the stain. They then came back later in the afternoon to seal the floor. The second day they arrived in the morning and then again in the afternoon to apply the additional coats to the floor.

Over all the floor looks great! The stain they used is very close to the stain on the floors in other areas of the house.

The one minor issue would be with the communication regarding the scheduling for the visits. It took a couple of days to get a response back confirming the date/time. Otherwise - the work done looks wonderful.

We would contact them again for future work.

The installers left a foot-long gash in a kitchen wall, excessively damaged baseboards and applied polyurathane before all the dust had settled. Mr Pelosi replaced the toilet and it leaked around the bottom within a few days. He said he'd pay the plumbers bill, but paid only half ($250). The plumber had to remove the new floor under the toilet and spent 3 1/2 hours making it correct ($491.51). They seemed indifferent to doing a good job just hurry, hurry, hurry. I would not recommend them.
