There are not enough words to describe how ecstatic I am with the service provided from TG & his team, and 5 stars is not enough! Long story short, I am a first time home buyer and was convinced to take a home warranty in exchange of replacing my HVAC which was from 1990. In January I began the process of trying to have the unit replaced before my warranty expired in May and the hot summer days returned. I battled with the contracting company for 5 months and they dropped the contract 4 days before my warranty expired. After all the stress and anxiety I decided to let the warranty expire and reached out the Garner's. Dave was at my place almost immediately, they were able to find a "unicorn unit" to fit my special situation, and had everything done in less than 2 weeks at an extremely competitive price. I grew up with the Garner's so I already felt at ease having their company take over, but I did not expect them to exceed expectations to that extent. Brandon, Zach and Nolan came to my house to do the change out. They were polite, clean, respectful and all around amazing. They even mopped up my hallway floors when they were done! I will never waste my time working with another HVAC company & will recommend these guys to anyone 100 times over.

They were able to get the unit quickly and get it installed within 2 days. The young men that came to do the work were nice, professional, and conscientious. Have used Tommy Garner for years.

Technician showed up within the window and troubleshoot the 14 year old unit to a "dual run capacitor" that was bad and replaced it with a new one. Tenant's were pleased with he communication and professionalism and the unit is back running well again.

I really like them. They are very accommodating, and we have been very pleased with them. They do a spring and fall service.

It was great. One person came out to do the work and another came out for an estimate. It took him an hour. We have used this company for years. They are honest, reliable and come out on time. I would tell a friend or family member that they would be pleased with them. They are reliable, prompt and don't try to sell you something you don't need.

The jobs went very well. They showed up on time for both efforts, did the work, and cleaned up behind themselves. They treated us very well. The installers and service technicians were clean, courteous, and seemed very competent. On the day the heating/AC system was to be installed, they discovered they could not have the required AC compressor, so rather than delay us getting our system working, they upgraded the system (at no cost to us) to include a high-efficiency heat pump installed in a dual-fuel configuration with the high-efficiency, condensing gas furnace. The system runs as a heat pump down to 40 degrees F and then the gas furnace kicks in and the heat pump is not used at low temperatures where it is not really efficient. We also purchase an upgraded warranty to 10 years (parts and labor) which was a very good decision. It already paid for itself when the plastic condenser housing broke in the furnace. They came and replaced the part with a newer version from the manufacturer, at no cost to us, and repaired the rust damage caused by the leaking housing. We are very happy with the system and have contracted with them to continue yearly service. The reason I did not score and quot;Qualityand quot; as excellent was the premature failure of the furnace part, which I think was a manufacturer's issue. The quality of Tommy Garner company's work was great. We would recommend them to anyone.

We moved into the area on Sat returning to a house we owned. The previous tenants (due to a horrible management company) had been out of the house for 2 months, leaving the gas turned off. The gas company would not turn it on until we could be there to do so, causing us to wait until Mon for heat with two children in the house, in Feb. When the gas company came, they could not turn our gas on because the igniter was not working. We called Tommy Garner and had a rep out that day to fix it, making us warm and toasty that evening. We have used their services before and will continue to do so.

My experience with Tommy Garner (john was the rep that did the work) was positive. I called my Home Warranty and they originally gave me a different contractor, but after over 12 hours (530pm Fri night to 9 am Sat morning), I was able to find out that the other contractor couldn't help me until Monday. I called HBW 2-10 and they put me in touch with Tommy Garner, within minutes I was able to contact theTommy Garner's service and they called me back promptly and arranged to have someone come to my house...John arrived by 10:30 and by 1:30pm, I have my A/C unit working again. Thanks.

I wanted to replace my 20 year old furnace/air conditioner, which was located in the attic. Tommy Garner installed a new Carrier System. Two technicians took about 10 hours to remove the old system and install the new system. They cleaned up after themselves and gave a cursory instruction on how to operate the new controller. They said they had to install a moisture sensor and would be out the next (working) day to do so because they didn't have one available at the time. They weren't. I had to call and remind them. Eventually they did it. In the meantime, I mistakenly pressed a wrong button on the controller that took the furnace off 'hold' and activated a pre-defined program. I thought the controller was broken. They came back and gave better instructions on how to use the controller.

Also, I noticed that air was not blowing from the furthest vent in the line. They came over to check it out and said that particular vent line was not up to current code. (It probably had not been working right for years and I never noticed until the new system was installed.) They installed a new vent line to current code and now those rooms serviced by the new vent line have warm air.

Unit was installed by Tommy Garner about 5 years ago. Called for a routine maintenance service check in about July 2011 and they responded the next day. The agent was clean, uniformed, and professional and didn't mind discussing details with me. His service completed very professionally.
After the unit tripped off and I had to get it fixed over the weekend ($122 at weekend rates), I emailed them to inquire if the shorted wire could have been a result of the first visit when replacing the cover. They responded that the follow up repair was covered under the warranty period from the maintenance contract as the wiring, etc was to be checked under that maintenance. Bottom line is that they did not charge me the extra $122. They could easily have said no so I was pleasantly surprised and appreciative not to pay for the service call.
