NOT GOOD! Never showed up on the scheduled day to do the work. The office lady insisted on rescheduling on the day and time that we had a dinner party scheduled - my wife objected but she did not care! They showed up with 3-men for a 2-man job. Took then an hour for 2 extensions of heads - not bad, everything worked. Got the bill about 6-8 weeks after the work was done (holy cow) over $200 for 1-hour of work! Last time I plan to use them!

The business owner, Glenn Gross, arrived on-time with two employees. Glenn personally directed all work and ensured all the services I had requested were performed expertly and timely. Precipitation Unlimited designed and installed my irrigation system 15 years ago, and I have used them year-after-year to perform my annual winterization and Spring turn-on service. Glenn and his staff are very professional and knowledgeable, and always have provided exceptional service. I highly recommend this company!

Very professionally done. Minimal impact on grass and sod once completed. System is set up and winterized for now, but they will activate in the Spring. Test results were great and a full explanation for operating automatic controls were given once installed. Highly recommended for complete installation.

Chris and another gentleman did a wonderful job on combining and extending our downspout
drainage system. Before starting, Chris explained in detail what they were going to do.
They then worked steadily yet always took time to answer any questions we had. We were very
impressed with Chris?s knowledge, attention to detail and ability to explain things as they were
happening. They also finished up by making the piece of the yard impacted look quite good.
We thought the cost was very reasonable given all that they did.
In short, we?re very glad we chose Precipitation Unlimited to do this project and
don?t hesitate to recommend them!

The weather has been crazy this spring and cold weather has pushed the turn on date back. Glenn showed up on time and was extremely friendly. The system was turned on and everything worked fine.

Glenn was extremely professional. He came out to give a quote and his recommendations. He explained how the system would work and the different types of heads that would be used. Within a week he had gotten permits and once the job started it was overwhelming the amount of work that was done in a day. Glenn and his crew came out and in 2 days completed the job. Had to have him come back out to readjust a head only because I hit it. I would highly recommend Glenn and his crew. The did an incredible job!

Glen had been taking care of our sprinklers for about 10 years and we have been very happy with his service.
We recently redesigned our backyard and front yard with new paved paths , patios and a new garage .As a result, we had to turn off some sprinklers, remove , move some and add new ones.Then the pump died (just after we reseeded !!) It was a big job and Glen raised to the challenge.He had the pump replaced within days,in time for the seeds to grow, worked around the schedule of the cement layers and all was done in good time and good humor.He was very punctual all through the project. Glen and his team were very pleasant and a pleasure to work with.
I would definitely recommend him and use his services again.

Did the work quickly and professionally. Squirrels had chewed up the rain sensor so he replaced it and set it up. Replaced one sprinkler head with a different spray pattern that works a lot better. The rest of the system was checked and didn't need any work.

,This was an excellent company. They came in and instead of saying the whole system needed to be replaced they did each part step-by step. Luckily they only need to replace a few parts. They were quick and very polite and very efficient.

The service was great. They should up earlier than expected and took care of everything that needed to be taken care of. I had a couple of sprinkler heads that needed to be replaced and they replaced with no issues. After he took care of all of the sprinklers, he went in and set my system to come on at the optimal time.

Glenn & company were fantastic...period. Look no further. Glenn is professional and knowledgeable, and delivers on his word. The lawn looked incredible when they were done - the "plow-in" system was fast and didn't tear up the lawn. They had to trench up to the driveway in order to tunnel under it, but when they were done you could barely tell what had happened. Glenn even helped dig a ditch I needed to drain some water away from a low spot in the lawn. I highly recommend these guys.

My concern is the pricing and ability to contact someone in their main office.
When I made the appointment and asked about cost, I was told "if he can fix your problem in less than an hour, and we don't have to replace any parts, it is only $65." This was good, because my problem was a mis-wired selanoid. No digging was required, everything was open and exposed and I replaced all of the dirt, grass, etc. He simply needed to remove two or three pigtails, test the wires and move a common wire from one pig tail set to the other. In the process, I was told the selanoid "might" be bad, so he changed it out. FYI, selanoids are $12-$17 at Home Depot/Lowes.. I had already replaced two or three on my own. In the end, he said he believed the "common wire" was the real problem, but I didn't demand he replace my old selanoid (in hindsight I wish had). After pigtailing the wires on these zones, we went to the other side of the house. There he screwed the top off of a control valve and replaced an old diaphram (a $5 part at HD or Lowes). Total time, one hour and 15 minutes.
When I get the bill/invoice via email, it is for nearly $190, but since I am an Angie's List customer, it will only be $168.00. I had expected it to be $100-$120, but thought $168.00 was pretty high for the work performed. It took a few days to get a hold of the main office. I called and had to leave several messages. When I spoke with them several days later and expained my concern, they reduced the bill to $144. Still a little pricey in my opinion, but better than $168.00. The lady, who was very polite, explained their selanoids cost them $30, which is why they can warranty the part. Ok, but that still seems pricey.
BOTTOM LINE: They DO GOOD WORK, but they are pricey. If you have to contact their main office, you may have to leave a message.
