Peninsula Hardwood Floors

Larry was very professional and polite.  His estimate was reasonable and complete.  This was a relatively small job, but he took care to ensure we purchased the correct type and quality oak to match existing floors in adjacent rooms and to ensure he applied a similar finish.  Work was done in a timely manner and to our satisfaction.  Would use this company in the future and recommend to others.

Larry, the owner, came to our home to give us an estimate. He took his time to answer all questions and what explained what the job would entail and time expected to take to get it done. I got another three estimates and didn't pick Peninsula Hardwood Floors because of the price, in fact, they were slightly higher than the other estimates I got, but picked them because I felt that Larry had put a lot of time into explaining everything to us and pointed out things the others didn't that would make a difference in the outcome. Workmen showed up on time each day, were very friendly and most of all cared about doing a good job and took their time . I gave them a "B' for responsiveness because after a few times calling and talking to Larry, I figured out they are never at their office so the office phone number was not a good one to use. Larry gave me his cell phone and he usually anwered it or got back to me pretty quick. This is a small company. The owner, Larry, is usually at the job site, which we liked, looking over the work. We are very happy with the floors. They look beautiful and we are receiving a lot of compliments from others who enter our home. I would recommend them highly to anyone looking for hardwood floor installation or refinishing on existing floors.

Workmen were on time and very professional. Matched the new oak flooring repairs with the old flooring perfectly. When a neighbor and his dog accidently entered the house and walked on the wet sealant, it had to be fixed. Rather than a patch job, Peninsula re-sealed an entire area which included the formal LR, DR and foyer to insure it matched perfectly. This was especially impressive because there was no charge for doing the 4th coat of sealant. We will be using them to put hardwood flooring in our house later this year.

It went very well. We checked out several companies to put hardwood floors down. We were real pleased with them and they did a real good job. My husband chose them because all they do is hardwood flooring and they knew the most about the situation we had. Their price was higher than the competition but we felt like they knew more than the competition. Initially getting up with them was difficult. Once we got the arrangements made they showed up on time. They were very punctual and professional.

This company did great work. The owner came and gave me the estimate, he was on time and very knowledgable. The workers showed up on time daily, cleaned up before they left and they did a great job.
