After signing the contract under duress, the movers (who did not pack a single box and did not have a large enough truck to move all of the furniture, moved the furniture to the new house dumping most of the boxes and furniture in the garage. several very large pieces of furniture were left on the first floor of the house even though they had been instructed to move the furniture to the second floor (a roll top solid oak desk to be specific). there was damage to furnishings and boxes. a claim form was never given to be able to detail out the damages. no follow up what so ever to check for damages was done by the mover. using intimidation tactics the owner of the moving company showed up at the house at 8 pm at night demanding payment for the rest of the moving expense (the additional 3,000 that was added the day of the move). Several fans were missing and a very special necklace was missing after the move.
this goes beyond unprofessional taking advantage of a singe (widowed) female.
