Service was incredibly reliable and efficient, even in the rain. They were out first thing in the morning (8:00am) and called about 20 minutes ahead of time to confirm the appointment time. They were very professional, quick, and even topped our our freon for a reasonable price as well. They came highly recommended to us, and we would not hesitate to use them again.

Vary well. We have been looking for a full-time HVAC company as we were dissatisfied with our current company. Max came highly recommended from our source and we can see why.

Max arrived on time for our appointment.  He removed his shoes anytime he came in the house.  He was courteous and professional.  In addition to performing maintenance on the main system, Max made some adjustments to the exterior drains, cleaned out the condensing unit, and gave me some pointers for maintenance I can do in between his visits.  We've only had good experiences with Maximum Air.  Will call again!

As always, Max and his team were incredibly professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and hard-working. They came out bright and early on Friday morning to start the job, and made it their top priority to have the AC running by the end of the day before coming back on Saturday to install the heating. They worked diligently all day long and had the system up and running before they called it a day, even though installation ran them well into the early evening. Saturday, they came out bright and early again to begin work on the heating unit, which was completed by early afternoon. They demonstrated the functionality of the dual zone temperature control, explained all of their answers to my questions with great detail, and went above and beyond their duties while they were working. The whole time they were there, they made it feel like a group of friends were over just working together. It's hard to find anyone these days who is willing to go that extra mile being personable. I know for a fact that if there is any tweaking or fine tuning required of my new system, Max and his team will be right back out in the blink of an eye to make it happen. I seriously cannot recommend these guys enough!

Max was able to come out within a couple of hours, and was very early in the window he provided me with (as always). His knowledge and expertise provided me with a greater understanding of exactly what needed to be done with the entire heating and air system when I buy the home, and left me feeling a whole lot better about the process knowing he and his company would come take care of our issues in the future. He pointed out that the AC was well past its life expectancy, but that it could survive a little longer with some maintenance. It was nice to have a company come out and not immediately push new products on me. I have used this company on several occasions, and each time they have been punctual, efficient, extremely knowledgeable, and very helpful. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it every time!

Service was great.  Technicians were very knowledgeable and friendly.  All quotes given were exactly as stated on final bill.  They did not have the part on truck, but returned the next business day and completed service.  I highly recommend Maximum Air.

Arrived late for appointment but caused by mix up on address. Service call went well, technician well trained and informed.

It went well.  They checked likely causes and determined it was a singular event.  There was a discrepancy between the amount the serviceman requested and the amount stated on the phone when I made the appointment.  When I asked about it, the serviceman accepted the lower amount.

They saved us $4800.  The company that we have used last 3 years told us we needed a new system.  Max came same day we called and repair it.  The compressor needed to be replaced and it needed freon.  The system will have to be replace in the near future and we know we what this company to do the work. 

Both heat pumps went out within a week of each other and the temperature outside went from warm to hot.  I called five A rated heating and A/C companies on Angie's List and none could provide immediate assistance.  When I called Maximum Air and explained the situation, Max, the owner, said he had no technitions available but he'd drop what he was doing and come right out.  He was puntual, professional, courteous and explained the issues in an understandible way.  He worked in 90 plus degrees for over three hours and fixed multiple issues with both our heat pumps/air handlers.  He even discovered why our downstairs air flow never worked properly.  My wife took him to the downstairs air handler where he looked inside for less than a minute.  He proceeded to pull out a large, yellowed plastic bag that had somehow gotten in the vents and ended up partially blocking the air flow.  We had heating and A/C companies come out for over a decade and none had found this problem. 
We will continue to use Maximum Air and would highly recommend them for any kind of heating or cooling issue.

Very careful workmen - did a super job.

I called Maximum Air on a Saturday morning because my heat pump was icing up and I thought it might be low on Freon.  I scheduled a service call for Monday morning at 8:00 am.  He arrived on time and checked out my system.  He performed all the required servicing and I was very pleased with his service.

My mother's experience with this company prompted me to call for my own home.  Something was wrong, I was smelling something but could not figure it out.  The owner, Max came out and within 10 sec of looking at the system, he knew I had a cracked heat exchange and that I probably have had some carbon monoxide leaking.  I explained that I had a home warranty plan but I knew through research that its best to replace the heat and air at the same time. What I like about Max is that he gives you options, even if he won't make a dime from it. Options were to let home warranty replace heat system and then later replace the entire system later.  This was the cheapest solution.  Or I could have home warranty come out and have the system replaced but receive the cashout value from the home warranty (something I didn't know I could do). Home warranty did send a company out and they confirmed the problem and also let me know I had high levels of carbon monoxide.  They took info back to the company for them to make the decision.  When the home warranty called me they told me that I would have to pay $700 to get my system back running.  I was shocked, the whole reason to have the plan was to have no major out of pocket expense.  I asked if they would consider replacing the entire system since it was recommended by industry.  Of course answer was no but I asked them for the cashout value.  They said it would be 2 business days until I could find out and I could also call the company they sent out to find out the cost to replace entire system but they would only pay for the heat portion.  To me your central heat and air system is something you don't go cheap on.  I wanted a good system with a great company doing the work.  Because of the service they gave my mom a month ago, Maximum Air Inc. was the company I wanted to use.  I called Max back and asked him to perform the work.  It was going to take a week before they could schedule my home for work.  It was going to be the same if the other company was going to do the work.  Lucky for me it was very, very cold and I had space heaters that sustain my household. Installation day came and the team was on time.  I was amazed at how they treated  your  home.  They wore booties to ensure they did not carry in any mess into my home.  A shelving unit needed to be taken down.  Unlike most other companies, they removed the items from the shelf (instead of asking me) and neatly stored them in my garage.  Work was finished about 6:30 pm.  I was glad they worked late instead of coming back the next day.  The entire area was put back together with it totally cleaned up.  Max took the time to program my thermostat, asking me my preferences.  He explained the system to me and told me to call or email with any concerns I might have.  Something I think is special is that he constructed a cap for chimney portion that the last system used.  It had been recently blocked off by another company but he felt it was not sufficient and installed a cap. I could go on but to sum it up.  Max and his team of 2 were very professional and courteous.  I wished they did other work like remodeling which I need to do in the future.  I felt I was in the hands of the best. I highly recommend to all.  I echo my mother's sentiment of this company and their employees, they are GREAT!

Another great service, very reasonable priced.  I am confident our heating will run efficiently and problem free not that Maximum Air has done a system check.  They are extremely courteous and thorough.  I never worry that they will "discover" problems that don't exist.  I have been using Maximum Air for any heating/AC issue or service since we moved here in 2010 and will continue to do so.  I highly recommend them.

The whole job went well from quote to finish. The only area for improvement would be to communicate more, there was some confusion about when work was to start, I think they could have done a better job of keeping me updated on changes.
They installed the system without any problems, they wore shoe covers and laid drop cloths when working in the house, kept work related debris and dust to a minimum. They did a good job of cleaning up aferward.  At the end of installation they walked me around the work and asked if if was clean and acceptable.  They showed how each component worked and how to program and operate the new thermostat. I thought they were friendly and courteous thoughout the process.

Bottom line up front: USE THESE GUYS FOR YOUR HVAC NEEDS. THEY ARE SUPER!
Jeremy came within a couple days of the initial call (exactly on time) and gave a very professional estimate. He listened to what we needed/wanted, took measurements, calculated the size needed and emailed me a proposal. In my research I discovered each manufacturer has very similar systems for similar prices. The DIFFERENCE is in the installation. Salesmen can tout a certain SEER rating or warranty but the way component x, component y, and component z are engineered and connected makes ALL the difference. Maximum Air was not the very cheapest but I am convinced they are dedicated to the best installation. I talked to other highly recommended installers (also from Angie's List)  who didn't take the time to explain to me all the options. Maximum Air proposed a better option to run the electrical and coolant lines for the mini-split through the wall and under house crawl space and also kept all the attic to outdoor coolant lines in the wall versus outside the house. When I asked about these options later with the other guys they said, "Well, we don't like to have to explain to people when the installation won't work that way so we just don't tell them up front we could do that"....yeah right! I'm a mechanical/aerospace engineer by education, I can "handle" the truth.
The variable speed air handler for the upstairs unit was backorderd so they temporarily repaired the old unit to give us some A/C in the meantime. NO extra charge! The entire crew of Max, Jeremy, Vlad, and Kip showed up on time and had the downstairs unit done in a day. The original mini-split they quoted was also backorderd (for multiple weeks) so they gave us an upgraded 21 SEER unit from Mitsubishi for the same price. Maximum Air does not change the price, once quoted they stick to it even if it costs them money   :-) They also installed this unit in one day, the next day, even though it was not an easy install. That night the indoor coils froze up and it quit cooling. Max came back the next day and discovered the unit was overcharged and the drain hose was kinked. He fixed it on the spot. The upstairs air handler came in the next week and once again, the whole crew showed up at 0800 on the agreed day and installed that unit in one day.  They removed all the old stuff and NEVER made a mess.
Being the engineer I had many questions. Jeremy came out one more time and went through all the paerpwork and manuals and showed me how to do the "annual maintenance" and program all the different functions. I'm betting many HVAC companies would try to squeeze a service call out of people for that - NOT these guys!  He offered to file the guarantee paperwork and send it to us. I wanted to use a credit card for payment (to get the frequent flyer miles) and they waived the fee so I only paid the original quoted price. I wanted to keep the old programmable thermostats for another application, and when one of those got tossed by mistake, Jeremy brought me a new one - again no charge! In addition, while under the house, they discovered a plumbing leak I would never have found myself. THANKS!
This is probably the BEST experience I have ever had with a contractor. I WILL DEFINITELY recommend Maximum Air to anybody and will call them first for any future needs. GREAT JOB guys!

It was excellent. They were very good. I would absolutely use them again.

I got the name (Maxium Air) from Angie's List... thank you!I  had 2 other companies here before, who did repairs, but the problem continued - unit blowing air but not cool.This company was polite & courteous from the first conversation...person actually spoke clear English!!  They followed quickly to come the following day.  The gentleman asked many questions, explained HOW the unit works, and gave several examples of how leaks occur.  He made an appointment THEN to come back at MY earliest convenience to FIND THE PROBLEM & fix it!  He was scheduled to come between 8:00 & 9:00, he was here at 8:15.  The leak was found AND repaired quickly; but he stayed to make sure it was functioning properly and there was no sign of further leaks.

They have good prices. I was satisfied with their quality service and I don't have any issues with them.

Tech showed up on time and was very professional. Found nothing wrong with the system except it was a little too small for the house. I asked about a new system and the tech said he would get a sales rep out for a quote. The sales rep showed up next day, he was also very polite and professional. He found a 2 dampers on the system that I didn't know about, he adjusted them, explained how they work and told me that the system I had would probably be good for another 8 years. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need and he didn't charge me anything! Very honest and professional! I will definitely call Maximum air when I need a repair or a new system. Thanks!
