Michael Hatchett was our primary point of contact from the company and could not have been nicer or more thorough in the planning stages and throughout the entire process! Jessica Altman was the designer and her ideas, guidance, and selections were beautiful, tasteful, and timeless! Tommy Hunter was the site manager and was ALWAYS available to us for status updates, questions to be answered, advice given, scheduling of the subs, etc! We were/are so very happy that we chose them for our remodel AND there’s a lifetime warranty on their workmanship! Certainly cannot ask for more than that!

Everything went well with the initial meeting and design portion of the project. However, they didn't check inside the soffit to see if there was anything in it before they designed to have it removed. Turns out all of the bathroom plumbing was in the soffit. Had to pay additional money to have the plumbing redone to fit the design. Additionally, after starting work they discovered the sunroom was on the same circuit as the dining room and the kitchen so I had to pay more money to have the dining room electric redone to meet code. When they worked on the plumbing one of the pipes leaked so they put a bowl under the sink to catch the water and left without telling us or fixing it. It took the painter 3 tries before he painted the kitchen correctly, even though the project manager had asked me how I wanted the room painted and there was an email sent with the exact specifications that I approved. They punched holes in the living room wall during construction and had to patch that. They incorrectly measured where one of the electrical outlets needed to go so they moved it then left the hole in the wall which when questioned about they finally plastered but not neatly. When they installed the cabinets they used screws that were too long and damaged the interior of the cabinets. They had to replace those with new cabinets. They hung three cabinets at the wrong height and had to lower them. They wired the stove hood to the dimmer light switch in the kitchen and had to fix that. They failed to order the countertop when I made the initial payment and I kept getting phone calls and letters from the countertop company asking me why I was paying them. I didn't receive the project plan until 4 weeks after the project started. They promote on their website how terrific their communication is. The only time I heard from anyone during the first 4 weeks of the project was when they wanted money or when I initiated the conversation to ask questions. When I would approved things with the project manager, they wouldn't make it to the site manager or the workers and I received phone calls asking me what I wanted after it was in writing, then it was done incorrectly and had to be redone. I was suppose to be receiving weekly surveys but received my first survey on week 5 or 6 of the project. The owner actually visited my house with the entire team to discuss my issues. Holes in the walls that were not plastered, holes in the plumbing that were left unrepaired, cabinets hanging out over where the walls were, failure to order the countertop, failure to provide a copy of the project plan, etc. The job was eventually finished but I never received the touch up paint for the cabinets that I was promised. It was a very stressful, very frustrating process that I would never repeat.

Al the contract supervisor was wonderful. He was professional and respectful. Anything I had an issue with He corrected. All workers for Hatchett provide quality work. The tile man Chris listen to what I wanted in the shower area. His work is top quality.
If I am lucky enough to be able to remodel the kitchen Hatchett will be hired. The date for completion in the contract was not met.
But I am so happy with the results it does not matter.

I liked the quality of the service. The crew was very respectful on the property. It took about three months to complete. I didn't like that they didn't assist more in the designing with the customer. Some of the customer choices were not evaluated by Hatchett Design.

The people at Hatchett were very friendly, helpful and professional. We were very pleased with the way they handled the whole remodel.
Tommy the project manager was very involved, explained things and kept us informed the whole way through the remodel. He really made the whole project go very smoothly. They did the demolition the first week. Before they left they cleaned up all the debris and dust. We ran into a few unexpected things, with the wall removal and dining room floor, but they were right there to check what the problems were and to fix them. It made us feel better knowing things were being taken care of and we didn't have to call someone else to come fix things and delay the work.
All of the contractors they hired, electricians, plumbers and plasterers were also very professional, they answered any questions we had and completed their part of the job on time.
The job was completed ahead of time so we had our new kitchen/dining area done for Thanksgiving.
I would recommend Hatchett to anyone looking to have any kind of remodeling done. They have been in business for many years
and it shows, they couldn't have been more helpful or professional.

The room isn't completed yet.
They started a week early. It's been raining a lot so there have been several days they couldn't work. As of now they have completed the concrete, put up the three walls, ran the electrical, installed the roof and the door. I am very pleased with the work performed so far. Everyone on their work crews are very professional yet very polite. I'll update this review as work progresses.

Hatchett Design Remodel were very professional, very prompt, the young lady who came and spoke with us was very knowledgeable but their prices just seemed much more than what we wanted to spend on such a small bathroom. If you are within their price range, they do beautiful work, from what I saw, their quality of work was excellent and they do a professional job. Everything just depends on the value of your home and unfortunately we just couldn't afford it although I did tell the young lady by email, that if things changed, we would definitely use them for future projects based on their quality of work. I would tell other people looking into using them that they are professional, courteous, prompt, they say what they are going to do, their product is outstanding and if you can afford it, you will get your bucks value but you do have to the money to invest into their product.

Positive experience overwhelmingly due to the great work of the lead superintendent on the job -- Van Hicks. Van was exceptionally reliable and skillful. One subcontractor for the tiling dragged the job down with substandard work. That was rectified by Hatchett though to our complete satisfaction. Hatchett overall was very responsive to our desires and company supervision took an active role in making sure the projects were completed to our satisfaction. We could not have asked for a better superintendent on the job -- Van was incredible! The projects may have cost a little bit more than we expected, but the quality of the work proved Hatchett the right choice. Recommend Hatchett!

Representative came to our house and assisted in planning the remodel, including ideas and pricing alternatives. We established a work schedule that they adhered to. During the job, I requested a few modifications which they incorporated quickly with a minimum of disruption and cost. We are very happy with the results. The jobs took several weeks, and they always left the premises cleaned up and tidy. When necessary, they worked around our schedule. They were always pleasant and professional.

The job was done in only one week, which was amazing in itself. The work was done so well, that we are considering hiring them for other work. The only thing they did not do was the lighting. We are self sufficient people, so we are very picky, but we could not find any fault in this remodeling job. The maple cabinets, are especially beautiful, they did an excellent job for us.

We have been calling Hatchett for fifteen years. There is nothing they have not been able to do for us, and they always do it well. This job was consistent with their past professionalism. The construction took about six weeks to complete, and they separated the work area from the rest of the house, to avoid creating a dust cloud inside the house. This was rather expensive, but we wanted it done right, so we were willing to pay extra.
