GRANITE COUNTERTOP EXPERTS LLC

H had to build my wall out 3/4 to 1” to fort countertop, all seems were bad, w/o our knowledge crewed my refrigerator panel to adjacent cabinet to close a 1/4 gap in back that narrowed to front(which caused the panel to shift and wouldn’t allow the fridge to slide back in), sink is slightly crooked and doesn’t have same reveal all the way around. Stated he would give money back if not happy, but was told to take him to court. Blames the mismeasurement on fact that we took the upper backsplash and drywall down above counter, which bottom row of backsplash was removed when he measured. He also stated that one of the slabs that we paid for cracked and broke during fabrication.

Most companies were reluctant to do the work. But Ken Lago, of Granite Countertop Experts, agreed to take it on. He's an "old school" Danish craftsman and replaced both sinks without having to remove countertop. He also installed wooden supports on either side of both sinks to ensure they were properly supported (whereas previous installer had only sealed the sinks against the underside of the granite with glue). He did a wonderful job, taking 2 hrs and was meticulous in his work. It was well worth the very modest $450 charge to have such quality work done on our house. I'd hire him again without reservation.

He did a wonderful job. He came when he said he would, was prompt, did the entire job of tearing off old and installing new in one day. The workmanship looks perfect and I'm delighted with the job he did.
