Carey was fantastic. We only were looking to get a quote on some draining of our sinks, but he happened to be available. So, when he stopped by, it was very surprising how quickly he was able to assess the issues, and fix them. He also fixed low pressure in our shower. I highly recommend Epes Plumbing and will be using them moving forward for all our needs.

Couldn't have been better. Within an hour of calling Cary he was at my house with a new toilet. The installation went smoothly and quickly. He cleaned up after himself, and provided tips on how to avoid a similar problem in the future. He's definitely my "go-to" plumber.

We have hired Mr. Epes before and have been completely satisfied. As always, Mr. Epes was convenient to schedule and arrived on time. He worked non-stop and accomplished all the installations within 4 hours. When we discovered a manufacturer's problem with one of the toilets, Mr. Epes picked up a replacement and switched it out the next day free of charge.

Had a rental with a tub drain that was leaking.  I could not remove the drain cap for fear that I would do some damage to the fiberglass and called Mr. Epes.  He was prompt and spent about 30 minutes trying to remove the cap himself and was unable to do it.  He reviewed my options in detail with me, one being to attempt to cut the plug out.  Understandably he would not take the risk of attempting to cut it out himself as one slip would result in more damage to repair and, perhaps, even require replace of the entire tub.  He gave me detailed advice on how to attempt cutting it out.  I followed that advice and was able to remove the plug and complete the repair myself.  I tried to pay him for his time and advice and he would not accept payment and told me he had to look at the job in order to give an accurate esitmate.  I would not hesitate to call his company at any time in the future.

Panic stricken homeowner, water gushing through ceiling fan in kitchen from the bathroom above. Placed call, Cary returned
within 5 minutes and responded to house in 15.  He was able to cut the water off and diagnose leak.  He spent 3 plus hours on a Sunday afternoon at my house.  He was highly recommended in our Hilton Village/Brandon Heights facebook page so that was the name I called.  When I go the answering machine my heart sunk. Getting such a fast return call was fabulous and I expected to pay through the nose for the work. All told I was charged $222.00.  Amazing low price considering the time and level of effort, and that it was an emergency call on a Sunday. He stuck with it until he nailed the problem and we had several false leads as there was a newly discovered hidden plumbing chase buried within my walls.  Initially he could not find it yet we both knew there was massive amount of water leaking somewhere....This plumber gave me a great deal of confidence in his ability to eliminate what were false leads and indicators.  He tracked each one down to the dead end and by process of elimination found the correct issue. Old galvanized, and heavily sedimented piping broke off from a plumbing repair before I bought the house 12 years ago.  Now I know I have a plumbing disaster in these old pipes (1938) and I can start planning to replumb using modern equipment.

It went well. Simple job. I had found the leak location and dug most of the hole. Two hours of work at $110 per hour. Is this normal?

I spoke with him on the phone, explaining the problem. He gave me an estimate of the cost, explained how he figured the charges, offered several times and we agreed on one. He arrived on time, with a truck of equipment, turned off the water at our main, and explained what types of replacement faucets would be appropriate. He suggested a type that would not freeze and told me the cost ($40). I agreed, so he installed the new faucet, which he had in his truck, and turned the water back on. He then showed me the repair and had me try the faucet, which worked perfectly. He was professional at every level and the price was fair, considering the time involved.

I spent about $400. He went to the store, chose 2 faucets that he thought would be appropriate, I chose one and he installed it. I paid for the faucet and the work and he did a perfect job and he was the best person who was ever recommended to me. He was expert, professional, helpful, kind, considerate and clearly an outstanding person.

Much of the drain plumbing configuration in our house was done improperly by the previous owner. The owner of Epes plumbing has often told what the correct configuration for the drain plumbing should be, and asked if we'd like it to be repaired rather than just cleaned out and left in a poor configuration to make future service easier. For the disposal, he re-routed the under sink plumbing to get the Tee going in the right direction as well as installed the disposall, and was able to do this for his one hour charge plus a small amount for additional parts that he needed. Overall, an excellent job that should prevent future problems.

Very prompt and professional service. The job was a large one requiring the kitchen wall to be opened up as well as the kitchen ceiling and living room ceiling. Wall repairs cost me an additional $1,000 from another repairman. Results have been excellent with clean water and good pressure upstairs. I wish I had used him for the last job but the warranty company sent someone else.
