I had contacted Samsung twice and followed their constant instructions. Finally they said the TV needed repair...I asked for a service agent and Color and Sound was recommended. Contact person was John, the owner. I explained my problem via phone; he determined a remedy, ordered the part and when it was available, he came out and replaced the bad part.
Description of Work: Samsung eight year old 52-in flat screen did not turn off electronically...screen would freeze with a screeching sound...Had to physically unplug the TV to turn it off.

John the service guy arrived late, had to call to him back to see if he was on his way. Stated that he never got my contact info which he admitted later that he did. Was rushing through his service, did not like how he was handlind the TV. Im not an electrician but i'm not stupid either. I know when someone is rushing and skipped some process. Easy $65 for him. I wanted to say something but i just let him do the work. Will definitely not call him again, he needs to retire. Looks like he's about 70.

Description of Work: John replaced the color wheel mirror ship on my set and the side panel menu control. The TV picture is now fine but the menu control still does not work as apparently there is another board that requires replacement. Since my remote controls everything fine, I asked John to let me know what a new board would cost if he runs across one but I have not heard back. Probably would not have opted to pay for another board but would be interested to know what it might have cost. The boards are hard to come by from my research.
