From setting up the app t with Kristen, who couldn t have been more accommodating, through Chris coming out right on time, doing an excellent job and leaving a perfectly clean and neat worksite, we couldn t have been more pleased!!! A true professional experience! Another reason we will continue using Merritt Home is that Chris is a qualified multitasker. He can do a complete job. We did not have to have several different people come out to do a job.. e.g. a plumber AND an electrician if need be! This was a real hassle when we had previous work done by some of the larger, highly advertised companies! Chris has the credentials to do almost any job professionally, and we highly recommend his work!!!

Merritt Construction deserves a high rating for communication, good work, and efficiency.He was neat, timely and did quality work. Chris replaced 5 ceiling fans and a chandelier and installed a generator in one day. He was very efficient and charged the agreed amount. I appreciate the work and the knowledge he shared. Very professional operation. High marks

I want let everyone know that Merritt Homes is the place who delivers on what they promise. From the wonderful lady Kristen who helped me get on their schedule and answer my questions, to when the technician Chris called prior to arrival. Chris took a look at multiple concerns in our home and not only did he educate us on our house, but he gave us options to get the repair fixed, so we could decide based on our budget what worked for us. We were so impressed with his quality and professional work ethic, that we had him maintenance our heating system and replace an old water heater in the garage before he left. This company is the best and unlike large box companies, who only want to take advantage of the customers in our area. I will not need to call anyone else out for services as Merritt Homes does it all and with above and beyond customer service. Thank you Merritt Homes!

Merritt Homes is an AMAZING company! We had 3 other companies come out to give us a price quote, to replace our whole HVAC system. Merritt Homes price and customer service beat the other companies. Chris Merritt was so helpful and answered all our questions. We would definitely recommend Merritt Homes to anyone, you will not be disappointed!

Scheduled a appointment quickly after initial phone call and showed up early. Made the repairs and gave a written detailed description for a house closing. Highly recommend them and will call them first with any plumbing issues.

They are the best when it comes to exceptional customer service. They do what they say they will do. I called them on Monday Memorial Day Holiday. I spoke with Kristen who was very friendly and showed genuine concern for my situation. She advised me that Chris would arrive within 2 hours and he did, just as Kristen said he would. He diagnosed the problem. He let me know I needed a new air conditioning unit. He got to work right away ripping out the old unit. Chris worked diligently for 2-3 hours. He let me know he would return the next day to put a new unit in which he did, all in less than 3 hours. I was able to go to work when he left. In addition to this Chris called me personally the following day to find out if my air conditioning unit was working properly. I was completely blown away by the service that I had received. It doesn't get better than this. Chris was professional, knowledgeable and ensured I knew exactly what I needed. This is what exceptional customer service is all about! WOW!

After having 5 other companies come out to quote our family for a new HVAC system, Chris was BY FAR the most professional, knowledgeable and communicative person we encountered, ensuring our family knew exactly what we needed and what options we had to obtain it. This has been one of the most pleasant experiences, if not THE most, I have ever had with a company. From start to finish, I have felt a genuine concern for the best interest of my family. Chris gave us every second of time that we needed to make sure we had every question answered and knew exactly what we needed for our home. My family and I received top of the line service and a top of the line product at an affordable price. By far the best customer service I have received. My family and I are looking forward to a Summer with our brand new A/C and our first Winter with our new gas furnace. We are looking forward to working with this company again on future projects and would highly recommend them to other families!

Great experience (rare when dealing with contractors) - Rich came to my home and quoted replacing both outside hose bibs. Rich was very professional and explained what he was going to do and why. Showed me that I had cutoff valves for both hose bibs that I did not know existed. Pricing was reasonable and service was top notch. Job completed quickly and neatly. Rich screwed the hose bibs to the brick (as they should be) even thought the ones installed with the house were not. As I told Rich when he departed - nice to know I now have a plumber that I trust that I can call when needed. Would use them again for sure!

Plumber showed on time but without part to be replaced. Took ~ 1.5 hours to get back with part and another ~1.5 hours to install it. Total parts came to just under $500. Total bill was just over $1,000. I consider $500 for 1.5 hours of actual work an excessive labor charge. I will not use this contractor nor Home Advisor again.

Rich came out to replace our sludge-filled, overheating, failing old water heater. It was a difficult situation and he took the time and had the patience to do the job right. The fee was under the national average, reasonable. The water heater is located in a closet off the master bath and at first it would not drain. Rich knew just what to do. Took his time to get old one out and did not mess up our house. Cleaned up behind himself and left us with a larger water heater (as requested) and worked out how to fit it into our small location. Replaced all the plumbing to the water heater and now we have a better made, self-cleaning, more efficient electric water heater to provide us with lots of clean hot water.
