We custom fabricate, install and repair natural stone countertops. (as well as Quartz materials.....Cambria, Silestone, Caesarstone and Zodiac) We have a slab yard behind our building open 24/7 so that our customers can view and select granite on their schedule, not ours. We offer turnkey services that include plumbing by a licensed plumber and appliance installation.We also offer a wide selection of facets and sinks for your project. We are open M-F 8-5 and Saturdays 9-1 by appointment.

Highly recommend Artistic Stone Design for turnkey transformation of kitchens and bathrooms when new countertops, sinks and faucets are desired. Their designers provide great education on stone selection and color/patterns to complement ones home. Everything promise was executed professionally and in a timely fashion with much less disruption to our household than we anticipated before hiring ASD. Five days to fabricate granite countertops from carefully measured templates and ONLY 1 day for demolition of the old rooms and installation of new countertops, sinks and faucets. And their plumber contractor was a real bonus - what a great guy who did a super job for us. We worked with Lea Brackens as our designer, and she made the project simple and pleasureable by handling all of our questions and concerns.

It was a turn key operation, I picked out what materials I wanted and they subcontracted a plumber to reconnect the faucets. Everything went smoothly, it looks great and I'm happy.

Artistic Stone was a granite company chosen for me by Tailor Made Kitchens. I chose the color and level of granite through the decorator and made my decision based on what I could afford. I splurged a little and went to a level II granite with nice edging. Big investment for us and very exciting. I believe the complete turnaround time may have been 3 days - wow, that is fast! When I got home and saw the gaps between the granite and my kitchen wall, I was so disappointed. I placed a call to the decorator, who called the kitchen people, who called the granite people. Additionally, the installers left open razorblades and an open can of acetone on the floor? I cleaned up the mess and left post-it notes on the areas of concern (rough corners and a 1/2 gap filled with a clear gel). The installers came a second time and did not address the areas of concern (I could not be home to oversee due to family medical issue). Some seams were filled with a black residue of some type, post-its removed and not addressed. Rough areas and 1/2" gap not addressed. More open razorblades left on floor. Third visit, had everyone on site pointing fingers. They sawed into the wall and pushed counter, but still left large gap. I also noticed during this visit that the motion of the granite did not flow from one side of the stove to the other. They asked if I wanted them to cut another piece and I declined - this was the best of the troubles. The solution offered by the kitchen company was to take backsplash outside of cabinet area or put a "patch" piece of granite over the gap. I did not want six inches of backsplash to run beyond my cabinets as I had seen examples of this on the internet and though it looked odd. We have a small black "patch" of granite at the end of our courter/bar to cover the remaining gap. On a second visit, I would think a manager would have come to the job to view the areas of concern. Only on the third complaint did a manager come to my home and even then did not seem apologetic. The "patch" was applied on visit four by the guys who installed the backsplash. This was an unpleasant experience for us.

In this case, although the job did not go as smoothly as other jobs we have completed, we did respond rapidly to address issues and we did our absolute best to work within the pre-exiting conditions. Admittedly, leaving any sort of trash or debris is unacceptable on our part and our installation crews have all been reminded of proper jobsite cleanup."

The first repair that was done was not acceptable. The finish was rough and it looked like a 5 year old kid had repaired it. They sent someone else out and they basically redid the job to our satisfaction without charging us again.

Kathy was wonderful and easy to talk too. She helped kind me through the process. We used a carpenter Kathy recommended to remove our existing mantle and he was wonderful. I would use him again. Removal of existing fireplace surround and installation of new one seemed easy enough, but the carpenter did end up having to remove 1/2" from both sides of our mantle. However, this does cause any aesthetic issues.
Although not related to the installation, our electrician accidentally chipped an edge on the marble the day after it was installed and there were a couple of other minor chips on the hearth. I asked Jon how I should fix it since it wasn't the installers fault and Jon offered to send someone out to fix these areas free of charge. I did not expect that, but I really appreciate the fact he did that. That said, I would highly recommend this provider to others.
