Born in Richmond, VA with a creative drive and the desire to work with his hands, Michael Fleming began this, his life's calling, in 1974. After receiving a Forestry Degree from Virginia Tech and working several years each with Fairfax County Park Authority and Arborist Office, it was time to begin cultivating his ideas. Many projects later, sons Joshua and Chris (Degree in Environmental science) bring skills honed by growing up in a gardening family.
