Water pressure in our vacation home was getting worse and worse. Eventually, we lost all water. I called L&H on the first business day after a weekend at the house, Monday, June 13. Jay called me back to let me know that the well pump was burned out. He recommended a new well, as he believed a low water table was the cause. My husband was not agreeable to the expense of a new well, so we opted to have Jay put in a new $850 pump. The following weekend my husband took a day trip to the house to find there was no water. I called L&H and they responded promptly. The new pump was also burned out. Now my husband was convinced that we did, in fact, need a new well dug. We were soon to leave for an overseas trip. Jay assured me that the job would be done while we were away. Before we left, Jay and Todd asked for permission to remove a tree in order to get the drilling rig into our yard. Attached to the tree was a wire that kept an old, unused TV antennae. Jay asked for permission to take that down, too. We were happy to be rid of it. In removing the antennae, it snapped in two, and broke a skylight on the roof. Jay called to let me know, and promised to make it right. We went on our overseas trip and the weekend after we returned (July 1), we went to our vacation house to find everything in place. The skylight was perfectly replaced, and the water pressure is now better than it has ever been in the 7 years we've owned this home! The bill was higher than it could have been, as we had to pay for the well pump in addition to a new well and tree removal.
Description of Work: Installation of a new well pump followed by a new well.
