I called on Monday, Steve showed up to give me an estimate on Tues, and managed to do the job on Weds.   His man arrived exactly at 9am (the agreed upon start time), and stayed until after 5, when he finished the job.   There was no debris left behind, and the ceiling now looks wonderful.

Steve also suggested installing a vent above the porch ceiling to reduce heat, but I declined because I don't want do have to deal with my HOA.

All in all, this was the best handyman experience I've had on Angie's List.

The railing was done in vinyl to match our existing siding. It was excellent. We had a recommendation from a friend and decided to give him a shot after checking out his ratings on Angie's List. We are happy with the work he did today and will definitely consider using him again.

Steve, gave us an estimate to do carpentry, repairs on our dock, he showed up on time, did the repairs in a workman like manner and had no cost over runs. We were pleased with his work.
