We needed a substantial remodel on our SML house. Bob Riddick Home Services (BRHS) has done work on our roof since before we purchased that house; including some minor repairs and a softwash to enable a few more years on the roof before we bite the bullet and go for a new roof. When we decided to begin the remodel, we simply choose BRHS. We didn't bother with multiple quotes because BRHS's reputation was solid gold. It still is. Our Project Manager, Tripp Parker was not only knowledgeable, professional, and punctual, but he has great patience when working with a sometimes difficult customer (me). He was invaluable! I was given a lot of leeway concerning products and materials that I wanted to use and as such, often made decisions that involved plan changes. For example, I moved a wall and wanted a Barn Door that was more than 120-inches. I couldn't find anything that I liked, so Tripp had one "built" for me. I love it! Tripp's Number One, Shawn Jolliff was experienced, professional, creative, and unflappable! Doors, floors, and windows sometimes don't play well together, but Shawn would finesse them and make them work together. Phase 2 is going to begin this year and we will certainly use Bob Riddick Home Services again.

They were responded within a day for the repair work. Then they were very flexible in making schedule considering my availability, there work load and the weather. Once scheduled they arrived on time with all materials, tools and a sufficient crew to complete the new roof in 1 and 3/4 days. (Original schedule was for 3 days.) Cleanup was nearly perfect (I only found 4 nails after they left). They provide a warranty on there work in addition to the warranty which comes with the new shingles. The only negative was the cost which was a bit high but fully acceptable for the excellent service they provided

I will use this company again. This was the easiest roof repair I have ever experienced. I sent a request for an estimate to Riddick Roofing Inc via Angie's list. My request included pictures of the damage. I received a response "and estimate" from Riddick Roofing Inc the same day I had requested the estimate. The roof repair work was performed the following day. Riddick Roofing Inc emailed me pictures of the completed repair accompanied with the invoice immediately after the repair was completed. The entire process, from request for an estimate to job completion was only two (2) days. As to quality, if I didn't know there was damage to the roof, I doubt I could identify the area of repair -- in other words it looks like a quality color match and repair/install. To sum it up; I can easily give Riddick Roofing Inc top marks -- I wish all my contract jobs could be as successful and trouble free as this job with Riddick Roofing Inc.

Work took 1 week in mid-November of 2013. Mr. Riddick stated that they prefer to do metal roofs in colder months (and this November was exceptionally cold!). I had first contacted Mr. Riddick in mid 2012 and they were very busy, but based on my interactions with him, and the excellent reviews on Angie's List (and lack of current roof issues such as leaks, etc.), I decided to wait to have his company do the work. I kept in touch with his excellent scheduling staff, and worked out a schedule. A crew of 8 to 10 showed up the first day, placed tarps to catch debris and the tear-off of the asphalt shingle roof was done in about 2 hours, and clean-up was very thorough. Crew was very professional, efficient, and polite . Installation of the roof took about 4 days for a crew of expert metal roofing professionals. Our interactions with the crew were pleasant and very professional. We have had no problems since the job was finished, and we would definitely recommend Mr. Riddick's company, and definitely feel any future issues will be addressed promptly and courteously.

This is the most professional crew I have ever seen. They managed to do a top notch job in four hours, and that includes careful cleanup. Bob Riddick runs a quality company.

I called this company because they were local and I remembered seeing them on this list. They were able to come early the next day, find and repair the leak qucikly so we could get on our way. It was first class service for a first time customer with a small problem during a busy time. I was very happy with the service.

Although this was a big event for me it really occured in a flash. They (a large crew) were here on time and left in about four hours. T

here was an attractive new roof but no other evidence that anything had happened no hint of "trash" or "damage" and I've had to reason to call them back; I almost wish I had a reason to call Bob as talking with him was quite a pleasure.

I asked for and recieved three written bids. Reddick was neither high or low but I judged his bid to be of best value overall. We agreed on a time for the work to be performed and he arrived early on the day scheduled. Removal of the old roof was done quickly and the old cedar shake shingles were disposed of in a dumpster he brought and placed out of way in our driveway. Installation of the new shingles proceeded in the areas where the old were removed in a sequential manner until all was completed.

His personnel were neat, polite and professional. He cleaned up promply and as promised all work was done in a single day, albeit a long day.

I would not hesitate to hire him again.

I only gave them a B for price because they weren't the cheapest. Having said that, I certainly think I got my monies worth. There's something to be said for 'you get what you pay for'. I was quoted 9K for a new root that included a tear off of the old, installation of the new, adding a ridge vent, putting screens on the gutters. They also quoted me a price of 7K for the same job but no tear off of the old root. He explained to me why they recommend doing a tear off and also explained their entire process. Told me the job would take one day. I was a bit skeptical on that but you know what, they did it !! ( almost ). They were on site promptly at 7:30 AM and worked non-stop (except for 1 hour lunch) until almost 7:30 PM. They had to come back for roughly an hour the next morning to put the gutter screens on and do a final inspection (Bob Riddick personally did that). Everything else was done in a day. Cleanup of the site was impeccable! I had other quotes that were a lot cheaper (6K) and those concerned me. I priced materials independently and the cost of materials alone was almost 4.5K. Didn't want to chance having the job started and then get dinged for unexpected add-ons. Riddick roofing did it for the quoted price, in the estimated time and did excellent work. Absolutely no surprises. Lifetime warranty also !! I would use the word 'artisan' for this firm. They paid attention to everything including detail work because they wanted to be sure it not also functioned properly but 'looked good' from the street.

FYI - they even got my satellite dish back in the exact correct orientation !! No adjustment necessary. Turned on the TV and worked like a champ.

Crew showed up at 7AM and were so well trained by Bob Riddick that the old roof was off before 8AM. They worked as a team, carefully measuring the placement of all components of the new roof. The end result was top quality work, performed quickly but carefully. By 11AM, they had finished. I have never been more pleased with workmanship in my life. Mr. Riddick runs a top quality operation with an amazing crew of hard workers.
