1250 sq ft of Acacia hardwood installed(hardent wood next to Teak to install so a very difficult frustrating job with a few bent nails but Zacs team finished it beautifully and at an excellent price. Would definitely recommend this firm.

The floors look absolutely fantastic. Even the closets!   I could not be more pleased with the job.  The crew arrived on time and completed the work on schedule.  Zac was very patient, explained everything including potential for 'dings' to the painted baseboards (minimal by the way.) They cleaned up the bulk of the dust behind them; there was very little to do in the way of cleanup.  This is not an inexpensive job and you certainly want it right the first time. I got several estimates and feel I got the best job for the money. 

Floors look brand new.  When Zac came to provide an estimate, it was obvious that he was experienced. I believed that I would need to replace the flooring due to stains and discoloration, but he assured me that his company could refinish them to satisfaction.  Work was completed in the time frame projected and the finished product was beyond our expectations.

He was outstanding. I'm very happy with his service. He was wonderful. He is an excellent communicator. He promptly returns the calls when you call him. The people that he has working for him are excellent. They did a very good job. Zac, if he is not the person who comes out to do the job, does come out and supervise and check upon them. Overall, my experience with Zac Sweet Hardwood floors has been excellent. It was outstanding value for money. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. It's gorgeous. Their company did an outstanding job. Everybody who sees it just go, "Wow." Even my electrician asked me who did the flooring because he is going to have him do the flooring in his house. I am extremely pleased with them. They're going to come out in the fall and they're going to refinish all the other hardwood floors in the upstairs level of our house. I'm absolutely using them again. Absolutely, without a doubt. Actually, I asked them to send out the same two guys because we really like them. I would highly recommend them to anybody who I know would want to do hardwood floors in their house.

It went perfect. He was a very nice guy. All the empluyees that worked for him were all professional and kind. They would even bring in my packages if I had any.

I cannot say enough great things about Zac and his guys. Zac returned phone calls in a timely manner, and was on time for all appointments. His crew was very respectful of our home, and behaved very professionally. 
Zac had originally quoted us for the installation of oak floors via his vendor, but we found hickory floors with a wider plank that we liked a lot more at a local flooring warehouse. He checked to make sure his vendor couldn't beat the price, and they couldn't come close to it, so we went with that. 
The installation is flawless, and looks amazing. The stairs were a little tricky, as we would not have been able to find treads to match the flooring, so the guys just used the flooring for the treads and the risers and we special ordered the stair nosing. The job took about a day and a half to complete, which I thought was very reasonable considering how labor-intensive the stairs were. On the final 2 steps there was an issue with the placement of the boards, and the guy working on it stopped what he was doing to give us a thorough explanation of what was going on. Basically, we were running out of flooring, so he wasn't able to install it exactly the way he wanted to, to make it look perfect. I loved that he consulted with us and advised us before finishing-these guy clearly care a great deal about the quality of the work they do. 
After the installation was complete, we noticed a board that was a different color than the rest. It looked very out of place. When Zac came by to look at the work and pick up the check, we pointed it out to him. Without hesitation, he told us they'd be back the next day to pop it out and put in a new one. Even though we purchased the flooring elsewhere, and this wasn't what most would consider to be their problem, he made sure it got taken care of. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves. 
My husband and I both really liked Zac and the way he does business. He made sure that we got a quality floor and the best installation, but he really respected our budget; his prices are more than reasonable. Not to mention, the labor cost actually came in under what he had quoted us. Before I wrote the check he let me know that they had included the cost of sanding the stairs in the quote, which they ended up not having to do, so he took that off the cost of the labor. Very honest guy. 
We have every intention of having Zac and his guys back out to do the rest of the home. They did not disappoint.

I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Zac and his team.  From the first call I made to get a quote to the final coat of sealant, this team was professional, punctual and friendly.  The work was done in the time that Zac promised and the final product was better than I could have expected - it was beautiful! 
These guys are an absolute pleasure to work with and have already given their name to a few of my friends.  Thank you, Zac!

I recently engaged Zac Sweet Hardwood to repair and refinish an old oak floor that had been badly damaged by the installation of carpet, stains and the relocation of a floor radiator. He was quick to respond to my inquiry for a quote and reliably showed up to do the work once we settled on a date. His crew was courteous and friendly. They completed the job in the time estimated, and I was 100% satisfied with the quality of their work. I would use their services again and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs renovation of their hardwood floors.

Zac did my living room and the stairs to the second floor.  He was on time, did the work as described and was pleasant to deal with.

Zac did a wonderful job refinishing our hardwood floors.  He was very responsive to our initial call.  He came out and provided an estimate and, once we decided to use his services, began out a week later.  He was very punctual.  The work was amazing.  Our floors looked terrible before he began.  Now, the floors look brand new.  He even took the time to install quart round in the hallway which was missing before.  I would definitely recommend Zac's services to anyone.

Crew was on time and went to work right away.  Finished job while we were out of town and before we had moved furniture in.  We noticed a few defects in one of the layers of Poly, which were only cosmetic in nature.  Unsure if this was caused by the crew or more likely a defect in the Poly itself.  Zac adjusted our price down as a result.  He was a pleasure to work with.

They are very attentive and they do good work at a good price.

 Sanded and applied finish the 1st day; came back on days 2 & 3 to apply 2 more coats of polyurethane on the floor and stair treads & risers. They did an excellent job for the cost. (Another quote I received for the same work was $ 750.)
Zac and his team were very professional and friendly.

Zac and his crew did a wonderful job on our floors.  We’re the original owners and had over 21 years worth of wear that needed to be corrected.  Of the 4 estimates we got for the job, Zac’s was the most competitive. 
While I don’t normally go for low bid, I was comfortable with Zac’s knowledge of the issues we had which included some pet stains, water stains and an area that had been repaired but never finished.
He was punctual and always on time.  He clearly did what he said he would do. 
They took three days and put 3 coats of oil based poly down and they look great. 
While moving some furniture back in we scratched the floor.  We called Zac and he came over immediately and fixed it, and did it right. 
We are very happy with the job and would use him again. 

The project took a total of four days. The first day (and some of the second) was devoted to stripping and sanding. The second, third and fourth days were spent applying the poly. 
The job went extremely well. Zac and his crew are great guys, respectful of their clients, professional and efficient. They went the extra mile throughout the duration of the project. We highly recommend them!

They did a great job. They were very personable and definitely knew what they were doing.

Zac Sweet refinished all of the hardwood in our house.  After I called him, he came the next morning to provide an estimate.  His estimate was very reasonable, and he answered all of my questions.  He even scheduled work to be done on Christmas Eve so that when we returned from travelling, the job would be complete.  This was no small thing to us--we know it can be really tough to live through a floor refinishing job.  We really appreicate that Zac and his crew worked the days before and after Christmas to accomodate our schedule.
We could not be happier with the job Zac and his crew did.  The floors look perfect--the refinishing job Zac and his crew did really brought out the grain and warmth of the wood, and the finish itself is perfect--a nice sheen without looking glossy.  The floors were in pretty bad shape, with decades of dirt and damage, even some water damage, but now they look perfect.
Zac also installed a new door threshold; when we got home, the door was sticking a little, and Zac promptly came out and fixed it himself.  He takes a lot of pride in his work and his company, and it shows.

Zac came in and took over a job that was not completed by another contractor.  He sanded and refinished about 3000 square foot of two hundred year old heart pine.    Some of which were replacements that were very uneven, some that had nails and tacks in them.  He did the same for my steps.  He also totally re did the new kitchen floor that another contractor botched.
He was very easy to work with, gave me advice and would stop work so I could replace a plank that just was not good enough or when I had to have a faux painter come in to touch up something.
The thing that stood out most was his commitment to customer satisfaction.  I have been working on a restoration for seven years and have used dozens of contractors, but only one met Zac's level of customer service.
