Woodchuckers service was great. They can when scheduled and verified everything before starting any work. They did a great job. They were very professional and did exactly what I requested from them. They did cleaned up after themselves. I'm very pleased with the service. I would recommend and use them again.

These guys were great! From the first phone call through the project itself they were extremely professional, polite and punctual. They took the tree down and after had cleaned up so beautifully you couldn't even tell they had been there.

Everything went fast and smooth. Had a quote within 2 days of first contacting them. I accepted the quote 2 days later. They scheduled me a week out and completed it on the day scheduled. Even trimmed a few low branches off a tree we were leaving, as a last minute request. Stumps ground same day as the trees were brought down.

Woodchuckers is very professional. They will always call back and show up as planned. I had a large oak tree removed from 2 different properties (1 tree at each). $1000 for one and $1200 for the other. They use a boom truck, so they will make room to get to the tree if needed - which meant losing a holly bush at one location, but no big deal to replace $50 bush when spending $1000 for tree work. On a 3rd location, they actually need to cut down an extra tree to get to the tree I need cut down, but again, no big deal. Using the boom truck is much faster and safer than rope climbing the tree, so costs are kept lower. Only issue I had was tire tracks left in one of the neighbors yards due to soft ground.

Woodchuckers is great. From the estimate to the date of service, this is a punctual, honest, and hardworking company. They even took my fence down and reinstalled it when the work was complete. I highly recommend them.

I'm kind of dissatisfied. After the work was done, they asked if they could toss the wood chippings in to the tree line in our back yard. We agreed, but instead of hauling it to the wood line, the drove a giant truck through our backyard ripping up and damaging our lawn. We called several times for them to maybe bring some dirt or repair our lawn they damage. They have not even attempted to correct the damage they left on my lawn.

Job performed from A to Z! We were so pleased!

My husband and I could not have been more pleased. After the initial estimate (which proved to be lower than the other two we received), the date was set for the work to be done. On that day a crew of six well-groomed men showed up at our home at 7:30 AM. Also at that time, it began to rain. The crew did as much as they could accomplish considering the weather and then waited to see if the rain would let up. After an hour or so, when rain continued to pour down, they said they would have to leave and come back the next day. True to their word, they arrived about midday the following day and finished the job in about three hours. They cut the trees, chipped all the wood and completely cleaned up their worksite. They were extremely professional, polite and very conscientious about our property. We would, WITHOUT QUESTION, recommended Woodchuckers to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy and reasonably-priced company to do any kind of tree-removal on their property!

Woodchuckers was very good to work with.  They were professional and showed up when they said they would.  They worked hard and removed the trees quickly and efficiently.  They cleaned up and raked the area before leaving.  I would use them again.

One area of improvement:  when felling the large oak,  it would have been nice if they had laid down the cut limbs and brush as a buffer so the oak would not have made such a deep divot in the yard.

Contacted Woodchuckers via Email back in Feb to schedule estimate. Devin came out within a day and walked the site and gave me a few options. Due to the wonderful winter weather this year, we had a delay in being able to start the work, but we weren't in a rush.  Work was scheduled for 3/16. Devin gave me a call 24 hours in advance to make sure the date was good as the weather was finally turning warmer.  The crew showed up between 7:35-7:45am on Monday morning and began work as soon as final details were reviewed.  Devin had told me it would be a full day's work - and I was AMAZED at the speed at which things were accomplished. We have 9 trees total, all 80-90ft+ tall. Devin and one of his crew shimmied up the trees and performed limb trimming and then topped off each tree by hand.  It was definitely my Monday morning entertainment to watch them rope in, trim and then ultimately topple each tree.  The crew worked together effortlessly. No stragglers and everyone did their appointed job.  The entire job was completed by 1pm that afternoon. The crew ensured all debris (other then the wood chips over the stump holes) was removed or blown from the back year.

I am impressed all the way around with Woodchuckers!  First of all, out of the many quotes we received they were the only and i mean ONLY company that was concerned about NOT tearing up our yard.  I have had trees cut at other houses by other tree services and they tore up everything, BUT NOT WOODCHUCKERS!  They hand carried out the wood and did not hardly leave a trace of being there.  They removed a few very large and very dead trees.  The lot was a challenge because there were other living trees and a newly constructed fence which was very close to the area being dealt with.  I am amazed with their technique and professionalism. They did not use heavy equipment or cranes like others that quoted (and that would have destroyed our yard).  They were fast and efficient and managed this very safely.  I am impressed with them all the way around.  Some of the other quotes we got were three times the amount- would require heavy equipment and tear up the yard.  I will certainly keep Woodchuckers in my file for excellent service and price and would use them again and truly suggest them to anyone!

They were on time that day and went right to work. They did not leave any mess in the yard except for the shedded stump (in a pile) but this (from what I understand) is what all tree people leave.  I would definitely use them again!

Needed a bunch of limbs removed that were hanging low and hitting mine and my neighbors houses, and restricting some needed sunlight reaching some areas of the lawn. They came by for the initial estimate and walked right along with me. Had two other estimates, as usual no one could touch Woodchuckers price. I've used them before. They came the morning of the job and we spoke again prior to them dropping by for the afternoon work. They had to use a bucket on a couple of trees, but it was quick and efficient. The cleaned the area up nicely, and even cleaned my driveway of the acorns that had already fallen while they were at it. They always seem to go just a little further in service. They were referred to me years ago, and never sorry I've used them. The only reason for the one B is I wish they had been a little more proactive contacting me from the office after the initial estimate was emailed, since I had already agreed to the work during the initial visit. However, it is a busy time of year, and weather has been bad. Overall, a great company I will continue to use and recommend.

The tree removal was fine.  The stump grinding was complete.  
The trimming of trees left something to be desired.  The machinery needed to lift the workers up damaged our mulch bed, lawn, some bushes and many plants.  The workers missed many branches that I had to try to trim myself.  A branch near the top of the chimney is still there, out of my reach.  No branches hanging over the back deck were trimmed.
I would recommend this company for inexpensive tree removal, but might look elsewhere if more precise work is needed. 

I contacted four (4) "A" rated tree service firms that are listed on Angie's List.  One firm keep changing the appointment time until I told them to "for-get-it".  One firm took a look at my property and told me their equipment was too big to get in my backyard.  One firm I thought would do a good job gave a price that was a little more than Woodchuckers and told me that it would take two days to complete the project.  Woodchuckers (Devin Mays) arrived the day after I called them, told me they had log moving equipment that would fit the narrow space to my backyard, said they would put 5-6 men on the job and complete it in a day, and gave me a good price "on-the-spot", they got the job and I am very glad they did!
The work took place in my backyard where only small equipment can enter without the removal of considerable landscaping.  A bucket truck was out of the question.  They climbed the very large oak to be removed using climbing spikes, but ascended the the trees to be trimmed using rope climbing gear so not to damage the trees.  Five (5) men arrived on time (7:30 am) and worked all day, cleaning up before they left.  I like the way they worked as a team and took consideration of my property.  I am very pleased with everything they did, I AM SURE YOU WILL ALSO!
