$65
The first man I talked with two years ago quoted a price for cutting, edging and blowing ($65). When the bill came it was $ 8 higher ($73). When I questioned the bill, the man who actually came to my home, said it was more for blowing off the sidewalk and driveway. Over the two years, I asked that my candytuft around my mailbox not be trimmed away. Now there is almost none left. I had to constantly monitor the workers or there was no trimming around the back yard flowerbed edging, the candytuft was destroyed, the grass in front and around the shed was not cut at all, weeds grew up where my fence gate swung open and had never been. In an area that was overrun with ivy from the next door neighbor's yard, I contracted with them to clear that area. Three men came; two men did the work while the "head" man was on the phone. They charged by the hour. The most I could pay was $450, based on their hourly rate. The final bill was $500. That area was never cut and I was told repeatedly that they did not "do" flower beds. When I called to cancel the service this year, I said I did not need them to cut my grass any longer. The man on the phone said, "You mean cut your weeds." This business was more expensive, unresponsive to directions and rude. They received their billed amount every month without delay and they have lost a paying customer. When the yard was cut every week, the bill was $260 - 312 per month, without blowing; this is a lot for what was done.

They’re fantastic!  I’ve used them for years and I’ll stay with them because my yard looks so wonderful.  They come out every Friday and fertilize, aerate, tune-up the sprinklers, and even bring in trees -- whatever I need done.  They may be a little more expensive than the competition, but it’s absolutely worth it.
