Plumbing should work, which is why we're available day and night. With 24/7 emergency services, we can take care of any problem that may occur, at the time it happens, not just between 9am and 5pm. We do not use call centers nor do we leave the phones in the hands of the technician on call. You will be connected directly with one of our Facilitators of Awesome Customer Experiences. She will ensure that your problem is addressed quickly by a professional, and will check on you after your service to make sure everything went smoothly. Our service professionals can handle any problem that you may have, from drains backing up, to water leaking, toilets running, garbage disposals failing, we have you covered. "Mr. [Member Name Removed] Thank you for your review. In looking at your invoice detail I see that you had the Angie's List Frost Free Hose Bibb installation. The installation comes with a one year warranty, and the frost free hose bibbs don't freeze as long as the proper precautions are taken once freezing weather heads our way! Remember to disconnect all hoses from the hose bibbs. A few other helpful hints to prevent freezing piping in other areas of the house are to ensure the crawl space doors/access are closed as well as the vents in the crawl space are also shut. A foot on the back side of the clawfoot tub (against a wall, on the side of the tub with the plumbing) was sheered off, making the tub extremely unstable (a tub rocking back and forth while you're in the shower is really a stomach turner), and risked damaging the tile floor, and the walls next to the tub.
In order to fix the foot that sheered off of the clawfoot tub (the people that flipped my home used bolts that were not great for the weight of the tub) the tub had to be removed from the existing plumbing, turned over and all of the feet on the tub were inspected and repaired, including extensive work to the one bad foot. All of the tub feet were repaired, and the tub was reinstalled back with plumbing, and new hot and cold water shut offs on the tub
I was consulted numerous times about the price- $650 because of the complications on the tub, but agreed that it was better to ensure the safety and soundness of the tub than worry about the price too much. The technicians did great work, scheduled quickly, and did the work quickly and neatly. They explained every part of the process, and even though i was spending much more money than i originally thought i would for a "simple" broken foot, at the end of the day i was grateful to not have anyone break their necks on account of my wobbly tub, and the work they did was very good. This is now the 4th time that this company has done work in my home, and each time i have been satisfied. They are a reliable company, with good workers and stay true to their promises in regards to pricing and scheduling.

"Ms. [member name removed], I am sorry that you were unhappy with the plumbing service provided by Mr. Rooter of Richmond. By our records, the technician pulled the toilet and found that the toilet was not secured to the flange and the flange was not secured to the floor. The technician repaired the flange and secured the flange to the floor. He then reset the toilet with a new wax seal and ensured that the toilet was secured to the flange. The technician also installed a FluidMaster fill valve in the same toilet at no charge. The technician tested to ensure the toilet was functioning properly and no longer leaking. There is no charge for the technician to give an estimate, but if he has to do work (i.e.: pull the toilet) to find the cause of the problem, there is a diagnostic charge. Once the problem is found and the work is agreed upon, tenth diagnostic fee is waived and the price of the job is by the work that has to be done. We didn't receive any indication that you were unhappy with the work that was performed in 2014 until the review was posted at the end of July 2015. "Valued Customer, I apologize you were unhappy with the service we provided. Our technician did respond on a weekend to diagnose the dishwasher and found that the problem was within the dishwasher. I do see on the invoice from January 25th that the charge was our standard diagnostic fee, which is less than what has been stated. On the invoice the technician also noted that a portion of the diagnostic fee would be credited to installing a new dishwasher in the future. In looking further into the job, I do remember that I had spoken with Mrs. **** after the weekend service call regarding the diagnostic fee. After the second phone call from Mrs. ***** we were under the impression that there was a clear understanding of the events and the standard service charge, if there had been any indication that there was still unhappiness regarding the charges, I would have forwarded all of the information to our owner.
