Heating and Air Conditioning Service
The upstairs AC was no longer cooling the house. Luckily we have a home
warranty plan, so i called them. The first contractor they set me up
with Americool... didn't have any availability for 3 days... I called
back and the home warranty found/assigned Innovative as they were
available to come out the next day. Joey called the same day to advise
of a 4 hour window of time 8 - 12 for the following day.
Innovative
(Joey) arrived mid-morning per the appointment setup in the phone
call. I advised him of the problem I was having. He checked the unit
in the attic, checking the filter, and pipes. He then went outside to
the unit and immediatly recognized that the compressor wasn't running.
He removed the side cover and checked the capacitor, and sure enough it
wasn't putting out the proper volts. He went to his truck and got a
replacement capacitor and installed it on the spot. The compressor
started working again and before he went he also checked the freon
levels to make sure everything was where it is suppose to be.
Very happy with the work performed and speed in which he diagnosed and repaired this "relatively common" problem.
