"First, as a business owner I would like you to notice all reviews are from home warranty customers. On these our customer is the home warranty not the persons complaining and we have to follow there request. But there is misinformation from this person I have never met. The claim had not been turned in after just 2 days, because the warranty company likes us to check and try to get local and I had call in with the local distributor. When I turned it into the home warranty I told them the home owner wanted me to call him back. The home warranty told me "we will call our customer back tonight". Remember they are my customers, I have to follow there rules. The refusing to do the job with no explanation is untrue. I ask the home warranty to reassign because there was a death in the family and the part was in. I knew his wifes medical history and knew she needed heat. He will not pay another trade fee, in fact he is getting his money back from the home warranty and will still get serviced. Had I not had the job reassigned I knew it would be about a week and knew he was anxious to get motor in. I stand by my decision to have reassigned. I did not tell Mr I did not care about ratings, But at that point I had just got word of the death and had other things on my mind."
2014 ? I noticed extremely high heat bills early the next winter where the unit was running continually on heat strips. Indoor
Air responded and disappeared doing nothing. Two other companies were sent to diagnose and both said the compressor
was installed wrong and shorted the condenser. Indoor Air was sent to replace the condenser. Indoor Air stretched the job nearly 3 MONTHS while my home ran on heat strips ($$$!!!)
2015 ? High heat bills again. Same story with Indoor Air; they respond and disappears saying something about ordering a part. Another company is sent and after 3 visits finds the condenser was wired wrong (by Indoor Air) on installation resulting in freezing and running on heat strips again.
I called today (nearly 3 weeks he was dispatched this time) and he starts to tell me he?s waiting on parts.. ?until I explained it was fixed by another company and I was calling to talk about my power bills resulting from his service. I have at least $800 in overages in electric from running on heat strips for 3 ½ months.
The owner, Ray, tells me that he?s not responsible for any of it because ?I?m not his customer? since it?s through a warranty
company. He complains the warranty company doesn?t pay enough and he just uses them to fill time to stay busy.
Indoor Air seems to be an incompetent vendor and just doesn't care on top of it.
"This is another home warranty. Many companies were sent back each time before they would call us back. Each time we got her going when we left and not sure what wiring of items were done after we left. I got a call from ms stating if I gave her 800 she would forget about this. Since she is not my customer and many companies had been out didn't know why she was demanding money and refused."
