Hunter Construction was one the best contractors I've worked with. They were very professional, courteous and did a quality job. I can go as far to say they did a deck replacement that far exceeded my expectations. The new deck is beautiful and well constructed with quality materials. Any future construction jobs I have I will be sure to call them to get the job done.

I am not one to call on the professionals for fear of being over-charged for something I can try to do myself. So when my wife was tired of me messing things up around the house, I had to find a company I felt comfortable with. Around the time we had decided to get a few things done with our home, I found a flyer up at work for Hunter Construction. I found out the flyer came from a co-worker who had work done at his home and highly recommended them.
I called Zachary Hunter (owner with brother Robert) and asked him about rates and let him know what I needed done. He was so friendly and knowledgeable that we set up a time to meet at my home the following day to discuss my needs. I had several small things I needed done- during our conversation the day at my home I let Zachary know how often I was having to paint my shed and trim around my windows- he suggested to pout on trim coil metal work that looked like would but would never again have to be painted.
All the members of Hunter construction were reliable, they cleaned up after themselves after each work-day and got the work done when they said they would. Even with all of the rain and snow this winter, they kept in contact with us if they needed to reschedule work-times due to weather and many times still worked in the rain. I was so satisfied with the work the Hunter family did at my home that I have now been posting their flyers at work and around Richmond. My only regret is not having them construct my shed we had built in our backyard years ago..

Hunter construction was recommended by a co worker. I called Zachary Hunter for my roofing needs and explore my options. After meeting with the owners Zachary and Robert, I felt confident this was the company I wanted to use because of how friendly and professional they were. My roof turned out exactly the way I wanted. They completed the job on the deadline we had discussed and they left the job site very clean after each day of work. I had to obtain three quotes for insurance purposes and they were a lot more affordable then any other quote I had gotten. later I found out that the company guarantees to beat any competitors price by ten percent. I will definitely use the Hunter family for all my home improvement

I hired Hunter Construction to install Replacement Windows on my home, as well as Vinyl Siding and a new screen porch. The price that they quoted was much lower than two I had previously gotten, and the quality that they promised was better than the competitors. They delivered on all fronts. The windows look incredible, and the vinyl is much better than the cheap style you see on homes that tend to buckle. It's thick and has the foam attached to the siding itself. The Vinyl job completely changed my home. We changed the color and love the new color, as do our neighbors. I couldn't have asked for a better job. They completed the work in a timely manner, were extremely courteous to me and my wife, and took care with our home. We decided after the vinyl and windows to add a screen porch on our back deck. With the price that they offered us, we could not turn it down. The screen porch looks great, and we can't wait to enjoy it this spring and summer. I wish I had met Robert Hunter years ago, as I would have saved thousands on previous work I had done. I am really glad to have hired these guys, who are two brothers and a father who work together great. I will definitely be using them on any future projects, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing any of the services they offer. You won't be disappointed!

We got 3 bids for our screen porch. Hunter Construction was the cheapest of the three but I felt comfortable with them. They really know their stuff and they are easy to talk to. It is a family run company which I liked. The job was finished exactly when they said it would be completed by. They were very clean with our property while working and cleaned up every day they went home, something I have had other contractors not do. The job they did was incredible I was shocked for the price they gave us and the quality that we got on our porch. One of my neighbors used them on some repair work after seeing our screen porch. Overall I was completely satisfied and recommend them to anyone who needs to have work done on their home. The money you will save and the quality of work you will get will make you very pleased you chose them.

I was referred by a friend to Hunter Construction. She had gotten some work done and they were able to save her money on her job. I had previously had two estimates for siding and windows on my home and both were more than I wanted to spend and seemed outrageous. Robert the owner came and gave me a estimate for siding and windows which was cheaper than the two previous estimates for siding alone. I was shocked by how good their price was but my friend had used them and assured me they did great work and I am so glad I listened to her. Not only was the job they did incredible, they were extremely nice and courteous and got the job done in a timely manner. They are very comfortable to deal with and are local people here in the area and really care about their customers and their name in the community. I am very thankful that I found them as I got a great job and saved Thousands from what I would have paid with some of the larger companies and I felt good about keeping my money in the community. They are definitely my carpenters for life.
