We called on Friday when our system was frozen. They sent a repair man out on Saturday, looked at our system, showed me some of the issues with our system and recommended we get a new system. They sent their comfort specialist out on Sunday and review his recommendations for a replacement system. He did not push hard and was able to answer all our questions. He even looked surprised when we chose the more expensive system. This was in August and he said there is a 2 week delay in installations. But because we did not have any AC (it is 1 zone system), he was able to escalate our service and they were able to install the system the following Wednesday. Most of that wait was to get the equipment here. The installers were kind and respectful. There was a lot of banging in our attached garage pulling out the old equipment. But when they were finished, the work was completed professionally and they cleaned up after themselves. I have no complains with the installation. How does the system work? It is fantastic! We settled on the Mitsubishi system. Our electric bills have been cut in half (maybe more). And the old system did not do a good job keeping the upstairs and downstairs temperature uniform. This system is really doing very well at keeping both areas comfortable and uniform. We are very happy!

They come out every six months to service it, they did a very good job. I'm very satisfied. The unit we had before was the original unit with the house.

The work was perfect. Technicians were spot-on, friendly, very professional, on-time. No mess during installation and no mess after the job was complete. Explained how the units operate, booklets on units provided. Made sure we knew they were there for us 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Very trustworthy. I would recommend, 100%, Griffith to anyone who needs repairs or replacements. Been dealing with Griffith since he went into business and would NEVER go anywhere else!!!!!!

The air conditioner was old and was here when we moved here. It has lasted longer than expected so over due for a new one. They left the area clean. There was only one person that came out. It took them about an hour to do the inspection.

We bought a much bigger unit than we needed. I decided what to buy, so the fact that I bought too much for this house, was my fault. I could've bought a much smaller unit. They sent a salesman out, and he spent a lot of time with us. The guys came out, they brought the unit, and installed it. He came back again because they took the concrete slab with them instead of leaving it here. It took them two days and they cleaned up completely. All of their service was great. 

We were quite happy.

Transfer of Extended Service Warranty to Griffith was not honored. I was told that the cost of the repair to me personally would be in the neighborhood of $1,500, although TRANE had guaranteed full payment for the repair under their extended service waranty. Griffith refused to accept the Extended Service Warranty. I have taken all three of my service accounts with Griffith to another service provider that will actually provide service.

First I'll say my husband is very picky when it comes to ANY contractor. After another company left us with promises and no service he looked further. He found GRIFFITH HEATING--- and we're so thankful we did!!! Short and sweet: A sales representative came in, surveyed the situation, and made suggestions. Then the techs came. Then the work began--EXACTLY when they said, and the work lasted EXACTLY as long as promised. The workmen were ALL very competent, efficient, polite and pleasant to work with, and passed the German Shepherd test?. As with any project of this magnitude, glitches happen. One of the outside units failed. My husband called Griffith and they were out the next day to analyze the computer's readings. One Tech spent several hours troubleshooting and ordered a part, then several more hours tracking down the part instead of having to wait for that part from the distributor!!!. When that didn't fix the problem, they spent several hours on the phone with the local rep and a Factory Engineer. In the end, they replaced the outside unit. All has been well since. Bottom line: Griffith is a company that believes in their product; stands behind their word; and, provides care above and beyond what many companies give today, all without excuses.

Overall the service went well. We had a few problems with them though. They promised to replace the duct work coming out of the heating system, but they were unable to do so and put the original back. We called them back a couple times and they came back and replaced it. When they did replace it, everything worked well and we are satisfied with their work.

The heat pump that was in our home when we bought it was a real lemon.  The only good thing about it was the fact that we were introduced to Griffith Heating and Cooling when they would come out to repair or replace or all the other things our old heat pump needed.  Each and every service representative was on time, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful with tips and recommendations.  Even on weekends and holidays we could call the on call person and they would work with our home warranty provider to ensure we had service as soon as possible.  They were always great!



Finally we had to break down and replace the old unit.  Well, this is where Griffith really rose to the occasion.  Our Sales person was Bobby, and he was literally the best sales person I have ever set down with to go over all the options and pricing available with our American Standard installation.  He was super nice, friendly, helpful, and explained everything on our terms so that we understood exactly what we were getting.  He worked with us to find a perfect date to do the installation.  They were there bright and early the day of, and got all of the work done in the same day, in less time then they even said.  The work was superb and they left all the paperwork and prefilled out everything they could so that we could mail in our rebates with Dominion as well as American Standard.  I felt really happy and felt that we had gotten a great deal and we love our new heat pump!



We have even had to call Bobby a couple of times for quick questions, and we call him on his cell and he is always nice and friendly and takes time to answer our questions.  None of the "the sale is over so I don't have time for you" that you may get from other sales people.  He is like someone you would love to have over for dinner and like part of the family!



I loved the whole experience and we look forward to Griffith maintaining our heat pump for years and years to come!

The technician repaired the unit where I had heat until the part came in the following week. Candace called me to schedule the install. I work about 20 minutes from my house so they normally call me when the technician is on the way so that I am not waiting 2 to 3 hours for him to show up. He install the unit and tested it to make sure that everything was working properly. I have not had any problems since the repair and installation.
I have used Griffith Heating over the past few years and I have always been pleased with their service.

Bobby Quinn, the sales manager, came out to discuss the placement of the units with us and our general contractor. We had an appointment for the installation and he and his crew of technicians Randy and quot;Stickand quot; Jackson and Marshall Farrow arrived promptly and did an excellent job. They cleaned up thoroughly when they were done and went over the operation of the system and warranty information with me. I could not be more pleased with the work, their attitude and professionalism. This is excellent sales and service!

We purchased our home in October of 2013. The furnace stopped working properly in February 2014. We have a home warranty. Another company was dispatched to fix our furnace. That company came out twice and did not repair the furnace properly. The home warranty company then dispatched Griffith. Griffith had to come out three times to completely fix the furnace. The first technician put a new blower fan in the furnace and actually put it on backward. Griffith finally had to send a manager or expert technician who put the fan on properly and did several other adjustments. The final technician determined that the furnace had a cracked heat exchanger. That part was covered under the manufacturers warranty and did not need to be covered by the home warranty company. Griffith worked very well with the home warranty company, who in turn kept us updated. Griffith came yesterday and completely fixed everything and the furnace is working better than ever. Even though there first technician screwed up they ended up completing the job properly in the end and treated us very well. I would recommend this company.
