Hired them to deep clean my mother's 1100 sq ft home. Services that were listed on deep clean were not done, such as vacuuming of upholstery, dusting wall decor, wiping down of all major appliances. Didn't touch an entire bookshelf. When I addressed the issue, I was told that my mother had expressed that she was on a budget and only wanted the major areas done. This was a complete untruth! Communication was terrible, when trying to get this rectified. Finally received a text that crew would be there at 10am the next day (whichwas an entire week later), but no one showed! When I called to ask why they no showed, I was told that no time was confirmed. Absolutely unprofessional!! I was given excuses about having call outs and it being a crazy morning. When you pay $150 an hour for a deep clean and get charged for an hour and a half, when four workers were only there for 1 hr and 10 minutes, that's a problem. Had to finally ask for a partial refund, which was credited to my card for $45.

After waiting I had to call them to determine they would be 2 hours late, which turned into closer to 2.5 hours They all loaded up and were ready to leave, I had to bring them back in to address three areas where dirt was clear and evident (meaning it was not hard to spot)

They consistenly do a good job and if there is ever a problem they are very quick to rectify it. The office staff is fabulous. Highly recommend.

They are absolutely amazing - we are always blown away by how great our house looks. We have them come every other week and we can never find anything out of place. We have a large yellow lab and two small children so our house is a mess - but these ladies make it look and smell amazing. Can't recommend them enough! Also, if you need to make a change - their office staff is super responsive and so nice!

Usually goes very well; sometimes depends on the crew you get. If you get a consistent crew they get to know your house and your preferences. For the most part they are consistent and do a very good job every time. There are a few times now and then I have to call and tell them they missed something but they usually take care of it the next time and often times credit me back some of the fee if they have not cleaned something thoroughly. So all in all a very reputable company, diligent, punctual, professional and a good value.

We have been using 5 Star Maids for about 2 - 2.5 years now and every time, we have been thrilled with the service, team and cleanliness. Claudia and her team did a fantastic job on a recent deep clean (2 hours) of our home, as well! Bonnie is so sweet and great to work with. I plan to use them again when I moved to a new house. I was present during it. My house had been neglected from a cleaning perspective. The owner of the company came out to my house to take a look and give me an estimate. Their office manager kept me informed about their progress on the day itself. The house was beautiful when I got home. There were one or two spots that they missed but it all made sense to me. I had a table in the living room that there was still some dust on it. When I thought about it and realized what time of day they were there, they wouldn't have seen it because of where the sun was coming in. They cleaned the baseboards, the floors, above the doors - they did a really good job.

In 2016 we had Five Star Maids clean our West End home once per month for at least three months. Pros: 1. Good job polishing items 2. Clean house with the exception of the sinks. They looked but never smelled clean. 3. Punctual Cons: 1. Very loud – dropping their items to knocking over ours. 2. Difficult to change the pattern in which they want to clean your house. Won’t listen. Language barrier. 3. Destructive cleaning habits. Each time they left something was damaged. Once an electrical outlet was pulled from the wall - likely due to someone yanking a vacuum cleaner's cord. Another time a blind was damaged. The entire blind may need replacing. 4. I caught one person cleaning the KitchenAid toaster by violently shaking it upside down onto our exotic wood kitchen floor. Both would have been damaged had the toaster slipped from her hands. They are in too great of a hurry. This may explain most of the above negative remarks. Their constant crashing about, poor communication and destructive cleaning lead to our ending the service. Five Star service would improve if Quality (properly cleaning one house at a time) was a focus before Quantity (maximizing cleaning contracts). If you hire them I suggest you don headphones and have a Handyman service on speed dial. I give Five Star Maids a Two Star review.

They come each week. Cleaned 1st and second floor, 4 bed, 3 1/2 bath. They dust and vacuum, that kind of thing. The thing is I had a cleaner before them that was just the most amazing person. It is really hard for me not to compare them with her. So anyway, that is why the "B". Punctuality has been a little bit of a problem. They used to come every 2 weeks but I am selling my house so now it is every week. Except for the last couple because it has not worked for them. I am still using them.

ouple of weeks. This time we'llntI didn't want to kill them with jobs, so we went around together; I pointed out what I thought were most needed to be clean, and away they went. There was one fun thing about our group. I speak mostly english, their language of comfort was hispanic. We agreed to teach each the words we didn't know...what fun! I look forward to them coming again in a couple of weeks, and we'll dig on other parts of the house. I really like these ladies!

I'm very picky when it comes to house cleaning and my husband did not think I would be happy with any service let alone one I got a special deal for on Angie's List. They contacted me right away and when there was a mix-up with the scheduling ( a miscommunication on my part since I was out of the country when I scheduled it) they were quick to accommodate my timetable since I had out of town visitors on their way that week. They did what they said they would do and they did a great job! I would definitely use them again.
