Upon arriving at Carpool my intention was just to get a quick wash that would also include cleaning my windshield. After reading the choices available I had decided to upgrade to a service that included a wax which was the extreme package. The attendant spoke to my husband and I and sold us on the RVA Hot Wax service which was $5 more. WELL worth the extra money. My car didn't shine like it did when coming out of the wash even the day I purchased it. You could see the water beading on the car even as the wax was being applied down the line inside the automatic wash.
The interior of the car was cleaned to a spic and span brand new clean; with all areas wiped down including the dash, doors, seats and console. The windows were spotless. The young ladies that worked in the car also dried the car so thoroughly you hardly find an area that was wet. The tires were mirror shiny.
Overall, this was an excellent experience and I will be returning as they offer a rewards program that is FREE. It is based on how often you come - you just have to sign up online. They even offer an Ipad in the waiting area for you to use to sign up on.

I have a dog that is often in my car, so there is a fair bit of dog fur. Not all fur was vacuumed out of car.

This review is not necessarily for the Hull Street location, but Carpool as a company in general. Their work is average but they pretty much have a monopoly on the west side of town. Yesterday, I took my car to Carpool and they never wiped it down. Water spots were visable yet the crew started cleaning the inside. After working with another customer who had a complaint, the manager turned to me in an agressive manner and asked what my problem with my service was. I explained that before I left, Id like my car wiped down and the interior windows cleaned. He got louder and stated that it had been done. I disagreed and he said that he could show me on the camera when it had been done. I took him up on his offer and I was right... never done. Lousy service and even worse attitude; I wasnt even complaining at this point. I had simply said that before I left, I would like my car wiped clear of all waterspots and the interior windows cleaned! From now on, I will allow Carpool to complete the most basic wash and I will clean the interior of my car. I will have a mobile detailer come to my house and do the job right bi-annually.

They do a good job, but it takes a while and costs A LOT!
