No one ever called me or came out.

Required multiple meetings to get the quote we wanted. They were trying to keep the cost down and didn't recommend putting gutters on the second story. I wanted them and also gutters on our storage shed, regardless of the price. We finally got on the same page, When the crew arrived they couldn't do the install because the existing facia had a decorative bend in the middle instead of being flat and flush. The estimator missed that significant "problem". It resulted in a two week delay to figure out how to add furring strips to attach the gutters. However, their solution was a solid one and they eventually did the install in one day. It was 25% more expensive for the extra material and work but looks, and performs, great. They also added an extra downspout between the upper and lower roof gutters, on front and back the same color as the roof, at no charge as a perk to make up for the previous issue. That is customer service and good business in my view. There are so many "covered/no mx" gutter systems out there it was difficult to know what to install. I decided to go with the two piece "gutter guard" instead of the one piece "leaf guard" and so far it has performed as advertised in light and heavy rain.

The installation was on time, done well, and very professional.

Called office and spoke to a very nice lady who set apt with Ken the next day. Ken was on time, measured the gutters and downspouts while asking about my issues with water. He went to his truck for about 15 mins and came back with drawing, estimate and samples of gutter hood and d/s. After explaining the company, crew, product and price he answered all our questions. The install crew came 2 weeks later to install the gutters. Terry was very polite and worked non stop. I believe he said he has done over 10,000 homes over the many years of his employment. They cleaned up everything walked the final job with me and seemed excited to show me his beautiful work. Highly recommend this group of guys for leaf free gutters. I called 3-5 companies and picked the best. Thanks for doing what you said you would do!

The service went pretty well for me as well. I would consider using Carefree Gutter Guard again for power washing if needed.

The experience was great. Carefree Gutter Guard did good. He just personally came in and did what he was supposed to do. He cleaned up after which was very well, so, he did a good job. He was good. Yeah, I would consider using him again in the future if needed. I've used him to power wash my house as well. His name is Miguel.

Prior to installation all questions were responded to promptly. They performed the services I requested in a timely fashion.

It is a great pleasure to write this review regarding CareFree Gutter Guard. Although November was a busy season for the company someone was able to respond to our request in a reasonable amount of time. Those gentlemen were very professional in the installation of our new gutters and guards. They arrived on time and completed the job under 90 minutes. Terry, the supervisor  even suggested some necessary minor repairs as a part of the process. The whole cost was even under budget than what we expected. I highly recommend this company and its staff to everyone. The new gutters have really enhanced our home exterior. I can now listen to the heavy rain without dreading an aftermath. Thank you CareFree Gutter Guard for your superb work!

All went well and took half a day

Ken Newman gave us an estimate after walking around and measuring our house.  We received four estimates--one was remarkably high (Gutter Helmet/Mr. Fix-it), one was low but didn't have solid gutter covers, the other two were pretty close (including Carefree Gutter Guard's).  We went with Carefree because of the lifetime guarantee and the solid reviews on Angie's List.  Carefree also gave us references--names and numbers of other users in our neighborhood.  I spoke to several of them and the reviews were all positive.
There were some scheduling delays due to back-ordered parts but once the crew got here they did great work.  Mike and Josh, aided by the salesman Ken, did fast work and were very professional.  They kept the place clean, worked really hard, and were excellent about addressing my questions and concerns.  There were a few complicated spots and they explained the options, made recommendations, and we decided on the best course.  Although we haven't had much rain since then, during our only solid rain I went outside with an umbrella and watched the gutters perform.  They worked great.
We needed one minor adjustment so I emailed Ken.  He came to our house within the hour and did the work personally.  Solved the problem completely.
I am very pleased with the product and value.  The sales pitch was low pressure, the work was done very well, and I'm happy with the gutters.  Based on the reviews and the history of success from current owners, I expect these gutters to perform very well for many years.  I'm also sure that if we ever have any problems or concerns, they will be addressed quickly and effectively.

Work as scheduled and the crew arrived as scheduled.  These folks knew their work, what they needed to do, never needed a reminder to complete a task, and very efficient with the tools and materials.  Cleaned up as they went, including the little pieces, nails and trash. 

Over a year later I noticed an obstruction and they responded, once again on time and did better than I expected.  My thanks to Care Free Gutters for a pleasant, hassle free, experience.  I don't believe anyone could do it better.

Very nice looking gutters and caps, excellent job of wrapping the fascia board and the job was done very quickly and professionally.

Scheduled for 8:00 AM and I called at 9:00 and 10:30 and was given 2 reasons the last being they would be here the next day.  They showed up at 4:30 PM the same day, surprise, to take current gutters off.  Crew chief never came to the door to introduce himself.  I had to go find him.  They removed the gutters and left all the debris on the deck, walkways, and heat pumps.  They were prompt  to install the new gutters the next day, but when instillation problems came up the crew chief argued with me until I had to call in a contractor to solve the problem.  On the second problem I called the salesman and it was taken care of. The crew chief also told me several times that he had to drive all the way from Hampton to Richmond as though this were an inconvenience.  I am use to handling home maintenance and working with people that treat me with respect not try to bully me into accepting poor solutions.  The salesman and 2 crew members were very respectful and helpful.  I truly hope the product is worth the problems.  It did not need to be this hard.

Overall Outstanding.  Robert Ruiz, Carefree Gutter Guard, 804-233-0300, gave an estimate and explained each and every item to include screws and touch up paint. Robert recommended adjustments to the gutter system to divert water away from the house.  He also used existing down spouts when they were the  appropriate size. The estimate was what the final bill was.  Workers arrived on time, maintained a steady pace and finished in the estimated time.  Clean up was outstanding.  The gutters with the rain guards look like crown molding on the side of the house.

Would only repair if they installed gutter which they did not.

I requested a quote through Carefree Gutter Guard's website and received a confirmation call the next day.  They accommodated my requested date/time within the same week of my request for a meeting.  The area manager arrived promptly at our scheduled time and took about 35-40 minutes to discuss the proposed work on my house: removal of existing gutters, measurements for new gutter installation, options available for new gutter install, etc.  He took notes based on certain requests I had: do not step on the slate roof, consider white spout coils instead of black spout coils, etc.  I held a sample of the product and was very impressed with the relative heft and size of the product to-be-installed on my home.  Within two days I had an e-mailed estimate and inventory of what would be installed, and a drawing of the measurements taken during our meeting.  A few days later, having agreed to the estimate, we scheduled time to meet, review the warranty and contract, and sign for the work.  A few days later the production manager contacted me with a proposed install date, which worked well for my schedule.  The day of the install the two-man crew showed up on time and reviewed the work to be performed with me before they set a ladder or any equipment on my property.  They also repeated the notes I stated concerning the slate roof, which I was very happy to hear.  Once work began the entire gutter removal/installation took approximately four hours to complete.  All removed materials were disposed of in their truck.  They even used a leaf blower on the front and backyards to remove the leaves and other debris that fell out of the removed gutters.  The installed gutters look great and work very well - no more "waterfalls" in certain spots!  In fact their first true test happened to be the rainfall from Hurricane Sandy...no problems at all.  My in laws used this company and recommended them to us.  Now I'm highly recommending them here!  The product may cost a bit more than traditional gutters, but the covers on the gutters, the flushing action within, the LIFETIME warranty on parts and installation and performance, and the time and hassle saved (for me at least) from having to climb out onto the roof and remove "crap" by hand twice a year was well worth the price we paid!

I went with Gutterguard because they could install before the impending tropical storm.  I found out that there's a lot of negotiation space in their pricing, which is at something of a premium because of their professed unique gutter design.  I was able to get a price comparable to most leaf-free systems--BUT, unlike other quotes obtained, that price did not include replacement of existing downspouts.The gutters perform very well even in heavy downpours.  They are not, however, maintenance free; the lip of the gutter has to be cleaned/wiped down at least annually, as it accumulates significant grim over time.  This is still easier than cleaning gutters.I wasn't entirely satisfied with the installation, which left a few shingles askew and which did not appear flush in some places.  I was told that this was because of flaws in the underlying surface, not their work.I accidentally offered payment in excess of the agreed-upon price by several hundred dollars.  When I discovered this error, it took literally months and a lot of nagging to have the money refunded.  This is a primary reason why I wouldn't do business with them again.  It should have been cleared up after the initial phone call.  Instead, I almost had to press charges.  I had a much better experience with Wright, who came out to help after the roof took some damage from the tropical storm.

The overall experience was pleasant from start to finish.  I will only deal with companies that provide excellent customer service, and I'm glad to say that I have found another one to add to my list.  It was easy to call and get an appointment for an estimate.  Mr. Ruiz arrived on time and provided us with different options and gave honest answers to our questions.  We were able to make an informed decision about new gutters for our house.  He also shared ideas about how to minimize the number of downspouts installed to improve the appearance of the house.  In addition, the quality of the product is backed by a lifetime guarantee.
Mr. Ruiz was patient and answered our questions that we came up with after our meeting with him.  He accommodated our schedule for installation, and the crew arrived on time.  The crew was very professional, completed the work on time in spite of some unforeseen damage that needed repair, and removed all debris from our yard.  They installed 45 degree angled gutters (vs. 90 degree gutters) on the inside corners - it really looks nice.  I can't wait until it rains!
