WISE CRACKS AUTO GLASS

In 2015 I got a new used vehicle that had a chip in the windshield. I called Wise Cracks to fix the chip. Jarrett came out and told me that my chip had already been fixed (poorly) but there was nothing else they could do. He didn’t charge me anything and I appreciated his honesty. I saved his card so that I could use Wise Cracks in the future. Yesterday I got a quarter sized chip in my windshield. I called Wise Cracks to come out and they came to my house within an hour. Only it wasn’t Wise Cracks. It was DSM (Discount Mobile Glass). Wise Cracks still has their website and the number just goes right to DSM. The guy who answered the phone mumbled and all I heard was auto glass. I had no idea it wasn’t Wise Cracks. The repairman was perfectly nice and did a fine job with my repair. The problem was that Wise Cracks charges $49 for a chip repair and DSM charged $90. How ridiculous is that!!! I’m writing this review in hopes that others won’t be fooled. Wise Cracks was awesome but they don’t exist anymore.

Discount Auto Glass purchased Wise Cracks Auto Glass who's contact information rings Discount Auto Glass. On their site (wisecracksautoglass.com/…) it states that the pay up to $250 of the deductible. I made the appointment to have my windshield replaced, called my insurance as instructed. I got my windshield replaced and was called asking for my $100 deductible. Never will use this company again. FALSE ADVERTISING!!

They came on time and as promised. The gentleman who came was very nice. However, when I came back out after work, I found black duct tape on either side of my windshield. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to stay on there for a while, or if I was supposed to take it off. I took it off. Then traveling down the interstate, my hood started to rattle badly. I pulled off the interstate to check it, and an entire roll of black duct tape fell off the top of my car and into the road! When I checked my hood, it was not closed completely. He had left it partially open and unsecured. I called the company immediately and left a message explaining my concerns and asked them to call me. That was now 2 business days ago, and they've never called me back. I can only assume that my concerns are of no concern to them. This company came highly recommended to me by my auto repair person whom I greatly trust. But he told me it had recently been sold to another company, so he wasn't sure if it was still the same quality. I will be calling him today to make sure he doesn't recommend this newly bought company to any other patrons.

Great! I was told what time to bring in my car and they replaced the window as I waited. They fit me in the same day I called. Fast and affordable!

They are excellent. They showed me how the previous service provider did not seal the window properly. They were very helpful and informative. I have used them since and I would highly recommend them.

Excellent! Arrived on time at my work and performed the repair in the parking lot. Called me to let me know they were on their way. He is very experienced and even found a chip I didn't see which was great because it was all covered under my insurance and it didn't cost me anything out of pocket. I avoid Safelite as they only train their technicians for 1 month. Jarrett has years of experience and training before that.

Everything was Perfect!
I contacted Wise Crack's, they returned my call the next business day, we scheduled the work and Jess answered all of my questions.  We met at my daughter's house since that was convenient  (I park in a deck during the day and this type of work needs to be done where there is adequate space).  They were on time and I left the key for my vehicle with them.  They did the installation and left instructions for me.  Very easy process for the customer!
The quality is there, the price is competitive, they were very nice and professional, etc.

They were terrific to speak with over the phone. They were highly knowledgeable and they had the best price in town. I had to reschedule several times due to my hectic work schedule. In the end I sold the car and did not get the windshield replaced. They were just as nice as they could possibly be even though I had to reschedule several times and in the end did not get the job done. I would recommend them to anyone. I was very impressed by their understanding and their patience. Super nice people! And they really were by far the best price in town!

Jarrett and his coworker called when they were on the way and arrived within the specified service window. They took the time to confirm they had the right windshield with the office. Work was performed quickly and they moved the inspection sticker to the new windshield. There have been no leaks or other signs of poor installation. I'm happy with the service they provided and work done.

I had called earlier that week, and the representative said they could come to my home in a couple of days at 10 AM. And they arrived at 10:30 (after they had politely called a few minutes before the scheduled time and apologized in advance for running behind). The two workers did a phenomenal, thorough job, and very quickly. They also told me how to maintain it that day so that it would be secure thereafter.

My only issue was that once I found them I had to wait a week for the appointment, but the price was good, and the SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT.

This is the second time I have used these people. They called me to confirm and again to let me know they were on the way. They were prompt, on time and remembered me even though it had been over three years. I received a follow up call to make sure everything was alright. I will always use Wise Cracks in the future and wish to recommend them to others.

Called Wisecracks to schedule a time and place for the windshield replacement. It was going to be few days out on a Friday. This was perfect for me because I work from home on Fridays. They said they'd be there between 11 am and 1 pm. Friday was a clear day, but the few days prior were rainy, so I was expecting them to be late, and possibly backed up to the point of not being able to do the work that day at all. I would have understood. However, a little after noon, they called and said they were about 5 minutes away and would be there soon. The replacement itself went smoothly, and the craftsmanship is top-notch. Jarrett and Jessica were totally professional, courteous and super pleasant to deal with. I paid with a credit card that they were able to process right on the spot using a small tablet computer and a very small credit card reader. I signed the receipt (with my finger) on the tablet and my receipt was emailed to me within minutes. How cool is that!

Scheduling was very easy, all staff were very polite and professional. Jarret (sp?) performed the service and another staff assisted, including the billing at the end. Met me on time at work, explained the procedure and how long it would take (they were dead on), what I should expect to see at the end (again, dead on) and the warranty. Again, they were very pleasant and professional. Would definately use again and recommend highly!

We were able to schedule an appointment within a couple days and installer arrived right on time. The generic seal surrounding the windshield from a previous installation was replaced with a seal specific to the vehicle. Very pleased with the service.
