I had a great experience with S & S Painters, and although first shocked with the price, after explanations of what would be done to prepare the surfaces to be painted, and the number of coats of primer and finish coats, the price was very fair.  S & S provided assistance in selection of paint colors, with a complete explanation of what was going to be done to prepare surfaces for paint.  A great explanation was made about who would be in my home doing the work, the hours that they would be working, and the approximate amount of days it would take to do the entire job.  In addition, I had clear instructions on how to prepare my home for their first visit: removing art work, furniture, etc.  The workers showed up on time, were thorough in preparing the surfaces, and the owners of the company were there each day working along with the painters, and checking that everything was being done to my satisfaction.  The workers were all women, very pleasant to have in my home, and lots of fun to be around.  Because many are mothers with school age children, they began each day around 8:30 and were gone by 2 which was a bonus!  The finished product was beautiful, done to my satisfaction, and a most pleasant experience.  My home was left clean and extra paint marked with identification in case I needed to make touchups.
I highly recommend S & S Painting and will use them again.  I love their business plan and the way they treat their customers and workers.

Stacey and her crew came and did an amazing job! Their attention to detail was just wonderful. They not only moved things I couldn't move or take down, they CLEANED. They didn't just tape things, they took off all the switchplates, towel racks, inside doors, light fixtures. Light fixtures that I can't get to any more are now sparkling clean! They dusted the tops of my kitchen cabinets! Of course, they vacuumed before they put furniture back. With that attention to detail, the drywall repair and paint job were superb too. My trim is wood, not painted. They did a good job with the cut-in work too. The paint is on the walls where it's supposed to be and not anywhere else. I dreaded this so much, but they made it as easy as they could. There was a file left every day for them to leave me notes and for me to do the same. They told me it would take 7-10 days to do the job. They started on Monday and finished on Friday. Didn't have to go into the 2nd week. The color choices were perfect. My house now is fresh, warm and lovely. I couldn't be more pleased.

Sand S returned our calls promptly, showed up on time (and even early!) for every appointment. The work was completely thoroughly, on time, and within $30 of the original estimate. Valerie and Stacey patiently advised on colors and styles, and even allowed for a last minute color adjustment.

It was unique to have the actual owners of the company involved in every step of the process (the initial consultation to the actual painting) and it made us more comfortable since we knew who was going to be in our home during each phase. We were only planning on doing our kids rooms, but after seeing the results of our first project with Sand S Painting I'm so glad we asked them to come back to paint our master bedroom and bath. They showed up on time, finished on time, cleaned up really well and the quote they gave us was exactly what we paid - - no surprises.
