Purcell Construction

I normally check the boxes when submitting reviews to Angie’s List but I could not do so for Purcell Construction. We contracted Purcell Construction to build a deck and after delays—not his fault but the homeowners association—the project started one day after HOA approval. The project took approximately one week to complete—could have been sooner but had to wait a sign-off from the county inspectors. We could not be happier with the end result. The deck is well crafted and probably will not move during an earthquake. Hunter team (Donald and Tracy) did an outstanding job in the cold sometime working after sunset to complete the project. If you are looking for a well-built deck at a reasonable price, I highly recommend Purcell Construction

Mr. Purcell and his crew of 2 were here when they said they would be, worked very hard all day, My husband was very involved in the process and they all worked well together.

Very professional, very conscientious to tidiness, kept us informed as to their progress, excellent workmanship.

Hunter's workers arrived on time, promptly and began removing carpet and stairs; kept dust and noise to a minimal; installed red Oak stairs; cleaned up each day; completed job in two days as promised!  They were extremely courteous and did a beautiful job.

Hunter did the items outside that he could do while we were still there since we had pets and stuff everywhere while we were cleaning out our house and getting ready for the movers.  Once the movers came he had everything done it less than two weeks so we could list the house.  Our home sold in less than 3 weeks the month of November when everything was not pretty outside and I feel a big part of that had to do with the work Hunter did for us.  Yes it was a lot but we felt we needed to do everything we did prior to listing.  Hunter was honest with me on his thoughts even if he felt it wasn't what I wanted to hear.  His prices were fair and probably below what someone else would have charged us.  We were gone and living in a different state when Hunter was taking care of our home for us and he knew how important the sale of our home was to us and I feel he treated it like it was his own home.  After the sale the new buyers wanted to close within 3 weeks so the inspector came and there were a few items we had missed so Hunter took care of them immediately.  The final walk through went without a hitch and we closed on December 22nd.  We couldn't have done it without Hunter and his team.  Even though I am not a member of Angies List I wanted to make sure he received the recommendation he deserves with a company that people trust to go to for help.  Thank you for allowing me to share our experience with Hunter and Purcell Construction.  Jeanette

I would not want to have someone like this do any work for me knowing that he stiffs the people he hires to do the actual work.  We have a small reputable electrical company and we have been in business for 30+ years.  This is the only time anything like this ever happened to us.  If he's capable of not paying the people who do the work how can you trust him to do anything?

Hunter Purcell was a true professional from the day he came and gave us an estimate until the job was finished. They were always on time, did what they said and finished on time. We will definitely use them again!
