Pla-Mor Pools has beed family owned and operated since 1968. Our two stores, conveniently located in Mechanicsville and Ashland, are full service destinations for all of your pool and hot tub needs. A sampling of the products we carry includes: Baquacil, Poolife chlorine, Mineral Springs from BioGuard, Pristiva, Leisure Time, Kafko vinyl liners, Aqua Comfort Heat Pumps and Polaris Automatic pool cleaners. We also offer Big Green Egg grills (and smokers) for the barbecue enthusiasts. New to our product line toys from Melissa & Doug, a name that stands for quality. We are offering their Sun and Sand line for the youngsters in your life. Quality pool toys, also ideal for the backyard or beach. The staff at Pla-Mor maintains a strong emphasis on providing the highest quality merchandise and the most reliable customer service available. "Hi Ms. K, You were charged $175 for a partial pool closing service. A review of your purchase history shows that you spent $197.60 at our Mechanicsville store on 10/17/20, prior to your closing. Part of that purchase was a skimmer basket and a water tube for your cover. Your water test history from that day shows that your pool water was severely out of balance. Your last test with us was 3 months prior, in June. Water that is severely out of balance can take a significant amount of chemicals and time to properly re-balance. On your scheduling phone call with us on 9/7/20 we informed you that winterization chemicals would need to be added at least 8 hours prior to your scheduled pool closing. Winterization chemicals need to circulate for an adequate amount of time prior to winterizing a pool. As a company, we are very careful to follow best chemical practices for our customers, particularly for the winter months when it is most crucial to protect your pool surfaces."
