The selection process was very informative and impressive with the expertise of the sales consultant who used her passion for design to make suggestions. The active listening skills demonstrated by Rosabella Picone, our in house consultant, let her understand our needs and design preferences. She was informative and polite as well as very professionally trained. An excellent example of how small family owned businesses perform and deliver. Enjoyed the experience and plan to shop there again!

This is my third project with L & M and over the years their customer service and high quality of work have always exceeded my expectations. From the first moment walking in their door I feel their attention to detail is outstanding. The best thing ever is they listen to me! They are so experienced they understand the difficulties of my old construction and do everything to maintain the integrity of my home. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality job.

Their services and representatives were excellent. Laurel was my customer service rep and I enjoyed working with her. She was very helpful in providing me ideas and things to consider during my carpet selection. She addressed all of my concerns. The team doing the installation was great, very professional and cleaned up everything and moved the furniture back in its place. I will use this company again when it comes to replace the carpet upstairs in my home.

The price was reasonable. Everything was very good, top notch. I could not ask for more. Everything went smoothly. All the measuring took place. Everything with installing the carpet went on time. It met my criteria to an A rating.

All work was done quietly and professionally. The quality of workmanship was excellent. Everything looks great. the products we chose was what we desired and is of good quality. There is a large variety to choose from and the price is according to what you choose. Everyone has their own preference and style. The sales person was able to help by explaining the differences and how the job should look. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job in coming to measure and coordinate the job.

After selecting the carpet, with the help of Misty Odum, a customer service representative, a date was set for measuring, and installation. All members of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and performed their job very well.

From the initial correspondences with Cathy Perkins, L & M made the process so easy! We emailed and made phone calls back and forth a couple of times and then Cathy informed me that she would come out to our house with an estimator and bring samples. I was so pleasantly surprised that a company would make the process this easy and convenient for customers and as a busy new mom, I really appreciated the customer-service approach the company takes. The work was done in a timely and professional way and we received reminder phone calls and updates prior to the guys arriving at our house. Upon completion of the work, Cathy Perkins followed up to see if we were pleased. This entire process was easy, affordable, and even personable. I couldn't give L & M a better rating and will absolutely recommend the company to family and friends!

As far as I could tell they sub-contracted out a non-English speaking crew to do the work. Not employees from the advertisement photo taken in front of their shop. They basically tore my house up while doing shoddy installation for which I had paid a premium. I paid $$$ for what I thought was going to be a turn key job and what I got was an unmitigated disaster from start to finish.

The sales woman was not very knowledgeable, did not have good follow up and made a few mistakes. The workers themselves were nice and the actual flooring work was good. However, both my husband and I saw them cutting the vinyl tiles on our existing flooring on some cardboard. Later we noticed a cut in the floor over a foot long along with several small cuts and gouges. When we let L&M know about it, the owner came by the house. He basically accused of lying after looking at it. When my husband told him to leave after his rude behavior, the owner finally offered to repair the cut. Someone came out and "fixed it" which meant putting an epoxy on the cuts. All that did was seal in the dirt that had gotten in the cut and left a textured residue an inch wide over the cut that dirt has adhered to and makes the cut much more noticeable and ugly. Their "fix" made it much worse. No discount, no apology, no offer to replace our damaged existing flooring. They do not know how to make things right when they mess up. They accuse they customer of being liars and cheats.

Service was done as promised. The flooring looked great, just as promised. However, the installer said he would be back to complete threshold molding, but did not call us back. Also, he measured the laundry room because we asked to add that room to the list. Never heard back

Great. Installers were in constant communication and on time. Job was done well with the exception of follow up afterwards. We asked for threshold tile in between wood entry floor and bathroom floor, and never heard back. Worker also measured laundry room for additional work request. Never heard back from store.

The workers arrived on time and were very nice. The install went very well and everything looks great. The salesperson was helpful and called after the install to make sure everything went well. The only issue I had was getting the installation coordinator on the phone. We played phone tag for a few days before I was finally able to get in touch with him. In the end we got it all scheduled and installed.

It went great! Angela, our sales representative was very through, professional and willing to wok competitively with our sale. She was able to assist us with finding and hiring a mover for our pool table which was a concern. The communication was fantastic from the scheduler Matt, Freddie and Stewart the installers were on time (actually a few minutes early) worked quickly, neatly and were finished before lunch! They removed all of the furniture and put it back upon their completion of the work. It was an overall positive experience and would recommend the team to anyone interested in purchasing carpet in the greater Richmond area!

We were greeted and helped by Angela Jordan when we arrived. She helped guide us to different types of carpet we might like based on our preferences. Once the carpet was chosen the process was very fast + simple and the carpet was ordered at a very reasonable price. About a week later we got a call saying the carpet was in so we set an install date for about 3 days down the road. The installers arrived on time and we're very professional and proficient at their jobs. They answered all of my questions and managed to get the job done in about 3 hours. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I would recommend the company to any of my friends that are in the market for any type of flooring!
