+ -1 moreJason Jones and his Team are phenomenal woodworkers. These men are master level artisan's when it comes to the work they do. Initially found them last year on Instagram and when they popped up here, I decided to give it a go for a big house renovation project. From the extremely fast 1-day demolition, to the flooring installation, designs in the flooring, sanding, stain/finish, and beautiful toe-kick molding. My wife and I are just beyond happy. A very large project and worth every penny! Will hire again for other projects!
Description of Work: Hardwood Flooring (site finish) entire first level of home.

+ -1 moreTerrible! Our floors look patchy, and terrible. This company that has as its primary employee its owner, Jason, is in our opinion a dishonest and lazy business man. We were stuck fixing something we paid them so much money for.. You can see in one of the pictures that the walls had residue on them that we were never fully able to get out without just painting over.
Description of Work: Jason was hired to refinish a job that another contractor had begun. He was recommended by our then general contractor, Reynolds Cowardin of Coastline Builders of Va. What a mistake it was to hire these two clowns!! Jason refinished the floors, but did not apply the necessary coats of polyurithane to protect the floors after. He damaged our beautiful and freshly painted walls and base boards, which he never corrected. We later saw the one semi-coat of protection he had applied fade away and raw wood patches were showing up in many areas of our home. We contacted Jason to get him to correct the terrible mess he had left behind, and he told us on more than one occassion that he would come. We waited for him every time, but the louse never showed up. After paying him all the money we had, all he left for us was a bottle of BONO to mop our floors with. He admitted that he had done the job under climate that was not appropriate and too cold for the polyurithane to properly dry as well. He blamed Reynolds Cowardin of Coastline Builders of Va. for insisting that he do this so they could finish the job, and get paid.
