HERITAGE CHEM-DRY

First contact was very good. Owner, Mark, came to house and gave estimate to which we agreed. He took carpets on November 30th, we paid deposit of one-half agreed price. Mark promised carpets would be returned within two weeks (November 14th). We called about November 9th to check status. After several calls, Mark finally returned our call and said that he forgot about our carpets. We asked when we would get our carpets back and Mark said he would call back. That's the last time we talked to him despite leaving several messages at the answering service and on his voice mail and sending an email. Turns out he doesn't have an office (it's an answering service) or a cleaning facility (apparently he uses family garages). So this guy has our $235 deposit and our area rugs valued at about $2200. As of December 17th we have not heard from Mark in 6 days. He has ignored many messages. BEWARE!!!

Two representatives arrived promptly and went through the housing measuring and asking questions.  Shortly thereafter another man arrived to do the work.  He was thorough and finished in a few hours.  It happened to be a rainy day, and therefore it took much longer for everyting to dry than their estimate.  By the next morning all was dry and looked so much better than before.  We would use them again.

They did a nice job. They had a special and I had a coupon.

We needed to have our stairs carpet and hallway carpet cleaned before Christmas & the arrival of a small grandchild. I found an advertisement in the latest "Reach" booklet and called the company one week before Christmas (Friday). Megan gave me a reasonable price estimate and scheduled a time on the next Monday morning. On Monday morning we got a call from the service man before he arrived. He quickly did a very good job of cleaning the carpets & rug. He asked if we wanted a "scotchgard" treatment with the cleaning ($20 extra) and offered to leave us a large can of spot remover if we took the extra treatment. I was suprised that the protectant was not a part of the basic fee, but I wanted the protectant; so I accepted the "deal." I suggest that the estimator mention the protectorant & its cost in future estimates.

The crew arrived as scheduled and went right to work. There was a sales pitch for more services but it was not a hard-sell effort. The workers were polite and easy to talk to. The carpet came cleaner than we expected. The carpet dried very quickly compared to other cleanings we have had.
