Thomas Blake at first seemed knowledgeable about many issues that we faced. But in the end, Thomas Blake said the roof alone would cost what the insurance company gave us for all damages to our home. Thomas Blake hired out for the new roof. He indicated the roofing company R. W. Harper located in Richmond Va. are the ones he always uses for all his prodjects. Well long story short. The roof can be listed as one of the worst roofing jobs in history and leaked first rain. We have had Thomas Blake over several times, as well as RW Harper. Each are in denile anything is wrong. We hired an independent inspector which gave a detailed report of all issues which deemed the roof very poor condition and needs to be replaced. Our roof is not done by code, manufactures instructions, plus learned a permit must be issued along with drawings submitted, which was not done. For a general contractor with as many years behind him as he clams should have known this. This was why we hired him in the first place. We only paid up front a small amount. We have taken further steps with our issues of our roof and contractor Thomas Blake. We do not take kindly to false truths, denile, nor abuse of our trust that we place in someone.
