CUSTOM CHIMNEY SERVICE & REPAIR

I originally contacted this company for a Chimney Sweep, which they were unable to complete due to the disrepair of my fan house flue. They wrote up an estimate for repair. 48 Hours later, Curtis called to tell me that he would knock $300.00 off of the price if we could schedule the job for the following Wednesday. I agreed, and asked for an updated estimate. The office was unable to provide an updated estimate until the day before the repair, less than 24 hours before the job began, and a week after I had requested it! The workmen arrived on time the next day, however, when I asked them to review the the work they were going to be doing, they stated that the estimate was incorrect as it inferred they would be lining both fireplaces and not just the furnace flue. I spoke with Curtis who informed me that this would be much more expensive, and that the estimate had been typed up incorrectly. The workmen seemed knowledgeable and were happy to answer the questions that I had.
