We took a push mower in for repair. There was a problem where the 'safety' cable would come loose causing the mower to shutoff. Atkinson's repaired it. We mowed the lawn once and it worked fine. The 2nd time we attempted to mow the lawn the EXACT SAME PROBLEM with the safety cable happened. We called Atkinson's. They told us there was no warranty on the work performed and we would be charged again for a repair.

I called several different companies to get pricing to replace the engine on my rider mower. Atkinson called back promptly with the best price. Other companies either never got back with a price, or a price that was way too high.
My mower was picked up the next day, and was returned with a replaced engine in a week. The turn-around time was exactly as they promised, and the work was excellent.
They were very honest and excellent to deal with. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to any one needing small engine repair. It is nice to find small businesses that still believe in treating their customers fairly and professionally!

Picked up mower on schedule. Repaired and returned as promised. The mower would not start and they needed to evaluate and repair. Wish they would have called before returning. II would have had them do additional services. In this case, I would say they were too efficient.

Called to inquire about service. Was told they could pick up the lawnmower the next week and the day would depend on the weather report. Called me the night before to let me know they would pick up the mower the next day. Mower was returned to me in 1 week. Process was easy and I will use them again.
