I have always had good experiences with this salon.

I recommend them. Their hair stylists are very good and their colorists are very good too. The quality of work is good but the prices are a bit high.

Very expensive. Am willing to pay that if I felt I was getting special or extra but it is comparable to other salons. Have also had a cut there which was good.

As I entered the salon, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I was surprised how small the waiting area was considering how large the salon was. My stylist was nice and listened as I explained what I wanted done. However, I didn't like that she smelled like cigarette smoke. YUCK! The girl who shampooed my hair was nice, but she chatted with her co-worker who was shampooing another client. Their conversation gave me the impression they were just out of high school. The haircut and styling were exactly what I asked for, but not worth the $90 I paid not including tip. I used to live in Chicago and have paid less money for results equal to or better than what I got at Vidal Sassoon.

I liked my haircut overall, but I don't think it was worth $95 plus a 20% tip. The stylist studied my hair for a while and we talked about what I wanted before someone else washed and massaged my hair/head. They have several different levels of trainees and expertise who charge different prices. Next time I might try a cheaper stylist.
