Terrible Service This company changed management a couple of years ago and since the change the new owner has been horrible. I used this company for over 20 years withou issues and the old owner Frank Witchie was wonderful. The new Owner Chris Lau has no similarity to the old owner. They have not managed to open my pool in the past two years without issues. Last year they broke a statute in my driveway and did not tell me, I had to chase them down to get a refund on the broken statute. They also failed to adjust the pool equipment properly on the opending and I had trouble with the chemical that were not properly balanced and I had to go to Leslie Pools to balance the water that was foaming for three days after the opening. This year they broke the same statute and at least they told me this time. But the person who opened the pool failed to adjust the blower for the spa jets and to remov the plugs for the jets, causing additional issues. I had to call DC Inifintiy Pool, LLC who fixed my isssues immediately and informed me they failed to adjust the blower after winterization and actually installed the lever for blower upside down causing issues. When I complained about the opening to the owner, I was accused of trying to extort money from him because we asked him to pay us for the aggravation of breaking our statute in the driveway twice- 2 years on a row. He refused to fix the problem with the malfunctioning pool equipment because he said we tried to extort money from him which is a joke. He is unethcial and can't run a business. I highly reccomend DC Inifinity Pool, LLC who is profesional and is customer oriented.

I have used Mclean Pool and Spa a number of times. I have probably been too patient, not knowing any other company in the area. But on most occasions there has been an issue of some kind. Either the work was not carried out to a satisfactory standard, equipment not put back and/or an incorrect price invoiced...

Had a former pool company who was not reliable. I would call and ask for repair, etc and they would not call back, or get the date wrong so I decided to give McLean Pool and Spa a shot. We had some tile flagstone in our pool that needed repaired and also needed to have the pool checked out and cleaned while we were on vacation 10 days. McLean Pool ant Spa did the work while we were gone. We did not know what to expect when we returned from vacation given our past experience with the other company. Upon return, the tile repair looked great and the water was crystal clear and the kids were able to jump right in! Really appreciated their professionalism and follow through. Tough to find this with many of the pool outfits out there today.

While it was relatively easy to schedule service the quality of service left much to be desired. We ran into problems with our weekly pool service. Some weeks, we noticed that only a note was left to show that someone stopped by. However, cleaning was not done. We started noticing algae growth in our pool. This is absolutely not acceptable especially since someone supposedly stops by every week to check chemical levels and clean the pool. Would not recommend this company. We are planning to hire a different pool company ASAP.

I would recommend them. We received recommendation from one of our neighbors. Once they came they could have set a very high priced fixed but they were straight on and were loyal.

They were taking care of the pool when we bought the house 10 years ago and we have stayed with them. They always are here when they say they are going to be and they do a good job. Their price is competitive. I did check with one or two others just to see what the prices were and they were higher. They are always fine. If there is anything that I need to leave out for them, I leave it out. I don't even have to be here when they come. They come and take care of everything. I've never had any problem.
