Five Star Painting of Fairfax recently did a superb job of painting the entire interior of our townhouse, in preparation for sale. Five Star painted the exterior of our house some years ago, and we also called on them to repair some interior drywall and paint part of a ceiling. In addition, we recommended Five Star to family members who sought a reliable company to paint the exterior of their large home. Five Star excelled at all this work, so we called on them again to paint our interior. Owner Joe Kitchen is a pleasure to work with, and gave us a thorough and fair estimate and communicated well with us to coordinate schedules. When “painting day” arrived, Alex, one of the company’s managers, and Carlos, the crew chief, arrived promptly, reviewed the work plan with us, then Carlos and his team set to work. The results were excellent in every way. When we next need interior or exterior painting, Five Star Painting of Fairfax will be our first call!

Joe Kitchen was our primary contact for this job. We obtained 3 bids for this job and Five Star was very competitive. The crew assigned to our job were highly skilled painters who worked carefully and efficiently. They put up proper dust barriers when they were working on the popcorn ceiling and properly protected the marble floor in the foyer and other areas/furniture that were not being painted. They cleaned up every day. The wrong paint was inadevertantly used on the family room ceiling. They repainted the ceiling with the correct paint without any hassles. This was a very professional operation from start to finish and we are very happy with the final product. We will hire them again.

They were prompt. The quality of the work was good as well as the pricing. There were some minor issues with the painting but when addressed they were corrected right away.

Very professional:  met with George Kitchens several times to discuss work and progress of work.  Work crew very courteous and responsive.  Clean-up at end could've been a little more complete but on the whole a positive experience.

They are doing some more work for us and we are very happy with them. I like their customer service, they do quality work at a fair price. George Kitchen is the person I talked to. The price depends on what I have them do.
