"Her report is false. BZ did not and does not lie, harass or extort clients. She says we "lie" when the contract's schedule and cost were "estimates”, that we "harass" after a 1 Line email says, "Can we expect reimbursement of expenses this week?" She says we "extort money" when she was billed per contract for 12%% of the est. constr. cost. "BZ had no concern for schedule". False; Contract signed 6/27/07, work began that day. She was kept informed of progress. She wrote 7/30/07 she liked the design, didn't want to change or cheapen it & told us to start final plans. 2 weeks later (8/16) plans were printed for permit. "I was billed $11,372". False; she was billed $6498 (12%% of $54,150). Min. fee was $3420 and max fee was 12%% of the ext. constr. cost. She complains about a bill rec'd 5 months later (a past due bal.) when BZ learns she is building a addition from BZ plans w/o having paid her bill in full 5 months earlier. She complains about a late fee of $52.57 for out of pocket expenses when the contract states 3%% late fee per month on payment past due. "An engineer isn't req'd". False; the city required it, we req'd it. While working with her it was clear that she didn't want advice and was scornful of any idea that didn't come from her. She wanted everything done NOW regardless of changes made to the drawings per her direction, regardless of who is drafting up the structural drawings & regardless of not paying for services given to her under a contract that she signed."
