I can’t say enough about how great my experience was with Virginia Glass. Steve (the owner) personally went on a nationwide hunt to find a rear windshield replacement (which turned out to be a rare model) for my shattered one. While the other 6 glass replacement shops I called told me they couldn’t help me or I should call someone else, Steve researched a variety of options for better than 3 weeks to find a used windshield that would save me from paying the exorbitant price I was quoted from Safelite for a new one. He eventually found a MD dealer who was willing to ship a windshield to his store and then set up a time to come to my
house to have it replaced the next day.
Steve's incredible customer service was also ingrained in Mike Geigan who came out to our house precisely at the appointment time to replace the windshield. Mike worked quickly with a pleasant demeanor, cleaning up all the broken glass while expertly installing the new windshield. In short, the customer service and professionalism from the moment I called to the installation of the glass was superb
I have no doubt that Steve made little (if any) money off our transaction considering the amount of time he put into tracking down the windshield. It’s rare to find this level of service and determination to meet the customer's needs. My wife and I were anguishing about whether to dump the car altogether but the great team at Virginia Glass really made a huge difference and relieved a stressful situation. Kudos to Steve for running a great business, I highly recommend them to anyone in need of auto-glass replacement.

Up front I was looking for a company where an experienced person would perform the work. Too many horror stories on lousy craftsmanship on the Internet. I contacted Virginia Glass, McLean, VA on Tuesday afternoon, May 1st. I received a quote in several minutes and set up an appointment for them to come to my house the next morning. On Wednesday morning, I received a call from the installation person, Mike Geigan, that he was on the way. The windshield was replaced uneventful. Mike's work was meticulous; exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend Virginia Glass. One last comment, I tipped Mike for his work. My personal belief is to reward excellent work.

Something hit the windshield of our Honda Odyssey and cracked it most of the way across the bottom. We knew immediately it needed to be replaced. When I called Virginia Glass, Steve answered the phone and he quickly gave me an esimate and we discussed timing on when they could do the repair. Steve was personable and knowledgeable, and I was feeling pretty good about choosing Virginia Glass. After checking schedules with my wife, I called Steve back and set up an appointment for Virginia Glass to come to my home to make the repair. I also asked about filing an insurance claim, and within a few more minutes on the phone, the insurance claim was all set up, and all I would need to pay upon installation was my deductible. Our appointment was setup for 10-12 in the morning, and Virginia Glass called sometime before 9am to let us know they could come earlier...even better for us. Mike, the installer, did a nice job installing the new windshield. Everything was put back together meticulously...including the inspection sticker and even the heavy velcro strips for the EZPass. Mike was also careful to reiterate the "drive away time" for the adhesive to set properly before driving the car. My experience was very much in line with their website description...experienced professionals providing personal service. I hope I don't have any more cracked or broken windows, but if I do, I'm going to call Virginia Glass.

The other company was professional, but Vienna Auto Glass got it done the same day, which I needed to be able to drive to work. I appreciated their courtesy, promptness and skill and would like to highly recommend them to anyone who likes supporting small, independent businesses that really care about their customers.

I called several companies, including the dealership, to see who could do the work the soonest and the price. VA Glass was without a doubt the most professional. Additionally, they were the most sympathetic. It was very easy to make an appointment for the following day. The technician came to my home, ON TIME, an was very polite and professional. He performed the job in about 30 minutes. I could not have been happier after such a not-so-happy reason for the repair. I've had hit-or-miss luck on Angie's List. This time it was a hit. FINALLY

Dropped off in morning and picked up in afternoon. Price was right at or just a little lower than quote. Talked to somebody who knew what was going on at both the drop off and pick up.

When I called to make the appointment they asked me a few questions about the size of the chip. They had an opening in their schedule the following day, but I was not available, so I was scheduled for the 2nd day. Mike arrived about 15 minutes ahead of schedule which was great. He was extremely courteous and professional and answered all of my questions about the repair. He did a great job on the windshield.

They came right out and checked the chip. They told me that it was a surface chip and they filled it with some serum so that it would not crack. They did all of the work free of charge which I thought was great. I give them A's all down the line. I will certainly use them again in the future.

Great experience. They conference called in my insurance company to get all the info needed to process the claim. They showed up on time and did a great job.

They were excellent, arrived when they said, finished when they said and charged what they said.

I called the day before to get an estimate on replacing the windshield. I insisted that the replacement glass be the same as was originally put on the car (the windshield was stamped with the manufacturer's name and details). I was told by the service man that he'd find out if he could get this particular windshield (he felt confident that he could) and let me know how much, etc. I was called back promptly, given an estimate of about half the cost of Safelite (who I would normally use, but the $700-$800 estimate was more than I could bear), and given an appointment time for the next day. I was also told about the type of adhesive that would be used and was assured that it was the type (urethane, etc. -- a high-quality bonding material) that would provide great results. Installation was very professional. I had called earlier to see if I couldn't move the installers' estimated arrival time back by about half an hour, since I needed to run a quick errand first, and they arrived just as we had agreed. "Mike" and a coworker did the job very quickly and neatly, right there in my driveway. Once finished, I was told all the dos and don'ts of the repair job. Nothing unusual, and I was able to use the vehicle within the hour. Looks great so far. I am hoping that it is not a "knock-off" windshield, but it does look like the real deal and I do feel like this company can be trusted. Anyway, thanks to them for a great job and a reasonable price!

I contacted Virginia Glass and they were very helpful and professional. I called on a Friday and they were able to schedule an appointment for one of their technicians to come to our house to do the replacement for the following Monday between 1:00-4:00pm. I was informed that if the temperature was below freezing we would have to reschedule since the windshield would not set properly in below freezing temperatures. I was told that I would be called if the work could not be done because of weather. Luckily, the temperature was okay. The technician arrive promply at 1:00pm. He came to the door and told me what he would be doing and how long it would take. He worked on the windshield for approximately one hour and the results were great. This company was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.

I called Virginia Glass on Monday, and they came out to my house the next day. Excellent service. They were about $30 more than another company, but Virginia Glass will come to your location-much more convenient for me!

They came to my house. The job was done in less than an hour. The price was competitive.

They came right away and they replaced the glass in about two hours. They were efficient and punctual. It was a pretty good price I thought.

I called Virginia Glass to get an estimate and also their availability to replace my car's windshield. I talked to Steve who seemed very experienced and was able to explain the type of glass that would be used as well as the overall process very well. He was able to get me scheduled for an appointment at my residence. The installers (Mike) reached on time and did a good job and also completed it within the estimated time. Overall I'm very pleased with the service and I intend to use them again if needed.

Window crack was beginning to grow. I called Virginia Glass and they were booked solid. I requested a call back in case of a cancellation, but didn't expect much. Shortly after, they called back and noted that a time was available. Arrived promptly and worked fast. Very good service.
