During the pandemic, my tenants moved out. I live overseas and could not travel, so I relied on Pronto to do what they were supposed to... and then had to badger them through the real estate agent who observed some superficial elements that prevented them from letting my home promptly. Since then, issues keep arising, and my very nice, tidy and responsible tenants have to keep asking for things to be fixed. Repairmen have documented issues that can only be - and are directly - linked to the poor Pronto work. I tried to get them to address these for 5 months, and they claim it's out of warranty. First they offered a little compensation, which didn't cover existing out of pocket. Then, they reduced it. I think they're taking advantage of a woman and an overseas (but responsive/responsible) landlord. I had to deal with the parent company in Atlanta, who have given me the runaround for 5 months. In autumn 2020, I contracted Pronto to put a fence all the way around my house, then for a number of other elements including fixing the front step, flooring in the mudroom and painting on the interior. Because they left construction debris outside my fenceline that city sanitation wouldn't pick up, I had to virtually chase them for almost a month, during which time the outside of my fenceline became a garbage pit. (This was during the pandemic, so I could not travel to supervise the "work".) First, I found out that they had vented the dryer (which they moved out while flooring the mudroom) into the crawl space, creating a nice humid environment for critters. I had to pay to get it vented outside, as it had been earlier ($700). Then, when my water heater died (normal), I found out they had vented it backwards. I'm lucky they did not kill my tenants by carbon monoxide poisoning. I had to pay to have the heater vented the right way. (+$750) *Of course, I paid for the actual heater, etc. myself, since that's not related. Incorrect venting *IS* what Pronto did, documented by the new service provider. I paid them to remove the awning in front and level the steps. They removed the awning and the storm door (now there's a gap in the interior door) and painted the steps. They are cracking and have holes after 18 months. I contacted them in April 2022 when my tenants sent pictures of the fence, which was falling into the alley, with posts rotting, panels falling off and the gate broken. My previous fence had lasted 17 years - put up by my brother and me. This lasted less than 18 months, and it didn't even meet the original brief to surround my house. To accommodate a large-car-sized back gate, they moved my shed... then moved it back when it wasn't in the way of the (now falling down, never with a handle in the alley as requested) gate. They put some wood pieces on either side, but didn't leave it flat - so it's sinking in the middle and the roof is collapsing. They have been stonewalling and postponing responses for 5 months now - long enough to close the BBB review - and finally decided this week to offer me $500 to address "out of guarantee" issues that they're trying to blame on my tenants. (A month ago, the rep offered $2500, which doesn't even cover my partial expenses.) Every time my tenants contact me, it's an issue that I can document - through photos, repairman documentation, and recorded conversations with the original project manager - is linked to Pronto's amazingly shoddy work. They know it was done haphazardly during the pandemic and relied on stonewalling and postponing to bring this further from their 90 day warranty. If you want to pay $7k for a fence that falls down, they are definitely your company. I have never had worse work done on my house after 19 years of home ownership. Their laziness, poor work and dishonesty do not seem to know any bounds. Now, I have to hire a lawyer to chase them down formally. Scam artists.

Handyman Service
I scheduled an in-home free estimate and the estimator did not show up. The company then sent an automated text message asking me if I had had time to review the quote that they never prepared for me. What a joke. Particularly funny that their website says "Life's too short to chase around flaky contractors!"

Handyman Service
The job was scheduled for 7/3/2021. Pronto took my deposit. No one showed up on that day. No one contacted me to tell me nobody was coming. My attempts to contact Pronto since then (including today) have been met only with a voicemail message. As things stand now, Pronto took my money and ran. This cannot be a sustainable business model for a contractor advertising on Angi!

Heating and Air Conditioning Service
I had to be there when the planks of wood showed up and assist the contractor in carrying them to the back. I saw the project manager once during this project and he did keep his word about lowering the cost of the job. The composite material "gives way", so I'm not happy with that. I wish I would of known that fact before the installtion was done. I'll have to shore up the deck myself with the assistance of a knowledgble neighboor. I'm not saying these guys are "bad", but you need to ensure you ask every single question. Who is going to haul the trash away, when will it be hauled away. Is there enough room to put in supplies, how often will the project manager come around? Will I have do work myself. What will I be charged for? Are there seperatate charges? Will the boards give way when they are installed? I'd ask all these questions before you hit the yes button, my fault for not asking all the questions. The deck looks nice, but I'm the one having to either go after Pronoto to get them to come fix my deck which probably means going to court. Or fix it myself or pay to have someone fix it. Sorry guys you get a C- in my book

Deck and Porch Service, Deck Maintenance
The project manager will come to your house and take pictures and explain what can be done. I had the deck re-laid with composite vice wood. I wished I would of known about the composite that it "gives way". The boards will last 25 to 30 years, however after being laid, I stepped on them and they give way on the deck. I wish the project manager would of told me that. As well, you purchase the materials separately from the cost of the labor. The contactor came to the house on time, but I did have to help guide the truck where materials were bought. I also helped move those boards around the back of the house. I also had to assist the carptenter and take all the trash away. Now the project manager did take off alot of money off the job for that work. My biggest complaint is that the composite boards "give way" and now I have to spend more money to fix that problem. I will not use these guys again.

An appointment for an estimate was scheduled with PHR. The estimator did not show up for the time slot they requested. Mo one showed that day at all. PHR did not call that day to explain why no one showed up. They sent an email the next day asking me to call them. They should have called me or explained in their email why they did not show up or bother to call on the day of the appointment.

Experience was good with older good. I had to pay for extra tools for his project and would like to be reimbursed. I have itemized receipts of what I would like to have reimbursed.
